All these worries about who will replace him are a bit like when Mowbray was replaced as manager. "Who on earth could we ever get who'll be better than him?" If we recall during one of my updates, I pointed out there was showdown meeting imminent with the Rao's, Suhail and Waggott, They were flabbergasted they'd hit the global news once more, Suhail stated it was all Waggott's fault, he'd been the one engaging with supporters and must of gone rouge creating the uprising. I was reliably informed that one or both would be removed following the conclusion/Aftermath of the said meeting. Waggott himself stated to me in person he had no intention of resigning and would do one more year, despite his wife wanting him to walk away. The woman's team he told he must not allow the Rao's/Venkys appear in the statement and in essence take the public fall. Throughout the last couple of months every media outlet article has been personally sent via whatsapp to the owners, all has been read, and i'm fully expecting this to be just the start, though more pushing is needed. I stated to Waggott before the uprising that once we start we wont stop until each piece is removed, as we've done previously. He freely admitted he did not expect us to get the traction we did and had underestimated us somewhat through bad intel. Waggott going first, is a blow in my opinion as Suhail is the main target, though Waggott needed to go to. We move on, we continue to push, its only a battle won and certainly not the war. The Coalition are putting in a lot of hours, its a 7 day a week job with internal comms around 20 hours a day. My main concern now, is what comes next in terms of replacement, whilst the internal comms between club and fans has just got a whole lot harder as the others within refuse to talk.

Great statement from the coalition. Demanding reasons why he has suddenly gone, demanding experience knowing Gestede will slip into that role, seeing through the timing after the womens announcement and again calling out Suhail. Thinking 2 steps ahead.

No doubt Glen will speak for himself specifically on this but yesterday his Twitter feed had a statement by the Coalition which included the following statement : " The very notion that anyone except the Rao family and Suhail Shaikh are to blame for their calamitous stewardship of the club should be rejected out of hand by the entire fanbase."

We had Derek Shaw before Waggott If it's not Gestede it will just be another Shaw/Waggott. This move to get rid of Waggott is just an attempt to shift the blame onto him and away from Pascha and the owners

On here you'll find many who see through the veil, but generally? I think he's been able to convince the majority at Ewood that all is in hand. Let's face it, for most little more is needed than a handful of victories on the pitch for all to be forgiven, get behind the lads ffs, etc. I did like that JDT needled him about his stupid leased coach comment repeatedly, but I also saw a lot of our fans right after that interview posting about how much sense Waggott was making (on Twitter/X, granted, but that's sadly probably more representative of the average fan than the people who post on here and other more detailed football forums). I don't think Suhail and Rudy can even present a facade of respectability, though. Certain fans with the blinkers on will parrot the upper management's nonsense regardless of how vapid it is, but I think even a lot of casuals found Rudy's interviews in particular to be absolute nonsense.

Fantastic in isolation to get rid of such a waste of space. But I cant see much changing. Venkys are and have always been the problem, as others have said its just shuffling the deckchairs on the titanic while they stay. It will also inevitably lead to incompetent kiss arses like Gestede and Sufi moving up the chain.

All that has happened under Waggott and would no doubt have continued under him though. I'd rather hope someone came in who wanted to try and grow the Club as opposed to shrink it and reduce it in size.
