  1. Past hour
  2. Also going to stick up for Miller here, albeit limited he was one player who at least gave it effort and looked like he wanted to be there today. Baradji I do like and think once he gets upto speed will be brilliant but will be sold rapidly and replaced with dross.
  3. and they still cant get him to sign a new contract despite being in talks for over a year now I am sue it is just him being greedy of course, and that there is no pattern to be concerned about
  4. Yea was a few seats around us, usual ST folks not turned up, whether busy or otherwise was unusual for them. Just a quiet morgue like atmosphere ...
  5. Hedges is a great barometer for how rapidly the squad has deteriorated. He has gone from being a much maligned squad player to a key cog in the dysfunctional machine.
  6. I don’t think anyone with any sense would question Cantwells technical ability. However his decision making abikity, tactical awareness and understanding is currently miles of it. Admittedly he’s not blessed with superstars around him but you piss with the penis you’ve got. Being miles away from where you’re meant to be isn’t helping him. Plus getting the ball taking too many touches and then passing sideways could be done by one of the 5 defenders and Tronstad, leaving Cantwell higher up
  7. Normal business rules went out the the window the minute venkys rocked up
  8. no need for another centre back val ,getting o`riordan back is like having a new player🙂
  9. https://www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk/sport/football/doncaster-rovers-braced-for-two-signings-as-blackburn-rovers-make-connor-oriordan-decision-5460256 Connor O'Riordan has now returned to his parent club Blackburn Rovers after they requested for him to go back earlier than planned. McCann revealed the news of a January recall last month but having failed to make the last few matchday squads, the centre-half has now officially ended his stay in South Yorkshire. "Connor has gone back to Blackburn," McCann added. "He went on Tuesday. They asked to take him back earlier and we were fine with that. They want to try and adjust him to get into their team.
  10. But it seems to happen more often here. Another fact of football life.
  11. O Riordan was back on tuesday at Rovers and will definitely go straight in to the team for the Charlton game.
  12. That’s because for the Millwall game there were about 7000 home fans. Concourse in JW was quiet today. Seats around me were still available. Blackburn End once again looked sparse. It didn’t feel ‘busy’ at all, albeit better than Millwall, Ipswich, Oxford. Riverside looked a bit busier to be fair. Either way for our “big” holiday fixture it was poor. Then again it was £35 for a lunchtime, Sky kick off.
  13. Lots more than recently that's for sure it makes a difference when most ST holders actually turn up. I'd say 11/12k in the home sections today.
  14. Didn’t really know where to post this but here’s is as good as anywhere. I’ve reached the point where I see the community we have on here as the only good thing about being a Rovers fan.
  15. We all know that will not happen !
  16. he made his feelings known in his post match interview... he wants signings but it's down to that clueless runt, gestede.
  17. he`s in india apparently, not sure if he`s gone to venkyland,he`s on safari or just done a moonlight flit from rovers
  18. Just my opinion but i think hes bottled it and is now in hiding dictating from India or wherever or is just lying low thinking it'll all blow over. I believe they operate that way. Also the possibility he has some family issue or something but yet again there should be some official communication as to why he seemingly isn't here. He's supposed to be running a 40 million turnover business at its busiest time of year after all.
  19. Ah, another one of Rovers' favourite agents.
  20. I think we're quite lucky to have Cantwell here and should be more grateful. The state we're in, we may not have another in the Cantwell mould for a while. As others have said, he is surrounded by dross, players who aren't on his wavelength and this is clearly resulting in massive frustration. Like a few on here, I enjoy seeing what experts within the game have to say. An example below of somebody whose football knowledge I rate highly. Posted, what, 7 hours after seeing Rovers hold his beloved Middlesbrough to a 0-0 draw? Fair play. He's not wrong.
  21. Possible , I think he wants to leave !
  22. If he wants out all he has to do is throw the blame the way of the owners and the shadow man.
  23. I will stick up for miller amongst all the pitchforks out for him, he is limited but I like his commitment , far from the worst of the summer signings. Also thought baradji improved second half and only one looking to get us back in the game. I do feel sorry for him and Cantwell trying to work with so little talent up top. henriksson, said from early he will never work here, up there with the very worst I have saw pull on the jersey and there has been some utter dross over the years. Worse than that Swedish lad we had on loan in league 1. in glad Alebiosu has been recognised internationally but my god it’s really harming us when we need him the most. Got some really important games coming up, such as the one on Sunday and to not have him is a bit annoying. we need signings in very quickly but I have no faith in gestede. when you were watching hyam control his back line and put in vital blocks while ours let a simply through ball over their heads for the first goal, do you get it yet gestede , like really do you get it yet? That shambles on the last day was suicide
