  1. Past hour
  2. It’s a yes from me 👍
  3. I nearly voted for myself just now, tbf, but thought that might be taking the proverbial!
  4. I agree with this re-evaluation.
  5. Yep dumb enough to say the savings from the women's team will go straight into the mens transfer pot. Idiots beyond belief.
  6. I'm afraid there is always a market for stupidity.
  7. Agree on the fact it should be all about cricket by late May. If only Lancashire weren't so crap! Supporting Rovers, LCC and Hornets in my three favourite sports doesn't feel like great choices ATM! But I'm lucky enough to have the great memories from all 3 teams over the last 50+ years. You have to be in it for the long game I guess to get the perspective.
  8. One candidate?? we’re becoming like China, whatever you do lads don’t stop clapping first 😁😁 (👍 from me btw)
  9. Some of our fans defending this decision on social media are thick beyond comprehension. They are an absolute dream for the owners and directors.
  10. Would be a good signing, though a few Clubs are apparently in for him - which rules us out!
  11. Today
  12. Elliott Bennett nails it here. It's something that the Punekars and their cohorts will NEVER understand. FOV.
  13. Which I believe they always will do when it becomes a complete last resort. This lot are never giving any power to anyone else, administrators etc.
  14. And too many wannabes try to out football those types.
  15. Good choice.Happy to endorse.
  16. personally not looked into this too much yet but saw this on my feed this morning
  17. I'm more than happy to have @K-Hod to be BRFCS candidate, always a level headed chap, talks sense and loves the club. Gets my vote.
  18. I would argue that it works when you have far better players than your competitors (which doesn't necessarily equate to the best of the world). Like the Dingles under Kompany, or Southampton under Martin at Championship level, but hopelessly exposed in a higher division. Kompany has gone on to be fine at Bayern, at least in Domestic games (I would argue due to the gulf in class between Bayern & everyone else), but their Champions League performances have not been stand out Would imagine Russell Martin would also look like the genius that he thinks he is if he were in charge of Rangers or Celtic. (maybe with the exception of Old Firm games).. but would again be hopelessly exposed in European games
  19. Pepball works when you have the best players in the world at your disposal. If you don't have that then it doesn't work.
  20. @K-Hod is a great choice I believe. I've personally never had a bad interaction with him and he's usually on the money with his points.
  21. I was pleased to see Postecoglou sacrifice his principles and methods to win the game by proper defending and not over playing in the wrong areas. It adds weight to my theory that 'Pepball' is on its way out and that there is more than one way to win a game.
  22. Rachel Dugdale was on 5 Live Breakfast - you can listen on BBC sounds and go back to about 6:28 - spoke well about the situation. Hopefully the criticism of the owners makes it back to them and isn't screened out by the board (which is what I personally think happens to a lot of the discontent). Perhaps the most telling line from what she said was along the basis of 'we fought all season to prevent relegation, yet the club has now self-relegated'.
  23. BRFCS has been asked to nominate a representative who can interact with The Coalition on a day to day, detailed basis, to represent the views of the Forum - in much the same way an MP represents the views of their constituents in parliament. Given that he already represents BRFCS on the Fans Forum in a similar role, we believe that @K-Hod would make an ideal candidate to undertake this role and he can use his experiences to inform his participation in each. We are delighted to advise that @K-Hod is ready & willing to take on this role & in a spirit of transparency we ask you to endorse his appointment as your representative via this poll. In this thread @K-Hod can then update folks (as long as it doesn’t undermine any of the proposed actions from The Coalition of course…) & you can ask questions of him so that everyone is as up to speed as possible with what is going on. Thanks all…
  24. It certainly draws a lot less scrutiny, when not in the premier league. Funny how they couldn’t wait to relegate us and then ensure they firebomb any attempt to get promoted, each time it looks like it might happen.
  25. One thing not mentioned so far, is the he shirt sponsors. They 2023/24 season saw Watson Ramsbottom solicitors sponsored the womens shirts. That in turn, led to them going on to sponsor the mens shirts las season. The amount paid to do you that, was more than 3 times, the budget the ladies team were given last year. Assuming the mens sponsorship came around, due to the womens year being considered successful, it does show, they go hand in hand, yet the opportunity has now gone. Sadly these things are overlooked.
