At least in Coyle's time you got the feeling if they changed the manager we would get safe (they did but it was too late) Pep wouldn't get a tune out of this grp of players I fear.

Fans, including me recently, have voted with their feet. That we have so many going after 15 years is testimony to our attachment to the blue and white halves. I can barely watch this lot, knowing what we all know. Not as bad as Coyle's time, but on nodding terms. -
Wow, I didn't think I could feel any worse. I stand corrected.

0-2, same old hard luck crap bleated by the manager. -
I’m with @arbitroon this…the speed of the “about turn” suggests it was anything but, this was a false rumour that was quickly deleted by its originator. If you had revealed something so awful that made the club change its mind - why then delete your post? Wouldn’t you instead claim the victory? “my reveal made them think again…” ? 🤔

My best guess would be that they're paving the way for Balaji's son to takeover. He'll convince baba to loosen the purse-strings and play Football Manager for a season. It will all go tits up because we'll sign a load of dross recommended by their "advisers", the son will get bored, and then we'll have a few seasons of gruelling austerity to make up for it. -
Thanks but I think it’s a lot simpler than you paint it. Companies borrow money to buy assets all the time. In the UK we call these mortgages… When a bank lends money it is the loan that is an asset in their books, not the thing purchased with the loan. I simply do not understand how you can claim that Rovers are an investment to anyone other than the shareholders of VLL. What you write about SBI above & how these loans are represented is I’m afraid fanciful… International accounting standards must apply.

Reading that gave me the shivers. Firstly, I think it would be idiocy to play three at the back without Carter or Miller being available. The folly of letting Hyam leave without replacement heightens by the hour. Secondly, SU would have Atcheson and Montgomery for breakfast. Only seen Atcheson play once and he was nowhere near ready and tbh not sure he ever will be from what I saw. As for Montgomery, ffs, this is a lad who last season was scrambling around Marine and Chorley and in a matter of months some think he is a latter day Paul Madeley who played anywhere and everywhere for Leeds and England. I think Montgomery is one of the most over-hyped players ever to come through the ranks at Rovers and is a pale, pale shadow of Jason Lowe - enough said!!! I thought he was in the 'donkey' class when I first saw him and I haven't seen anything in the slightest to change my mind. IMO, we aint half signed some real dross in the summer window including the 'star' we chased all summer (Morishita) who seemingly has been 'sent to Coventry'. Think this will be men against boys and another desperate defeat for Rovers to cement our place in the bottom three. - Today

Hes been an absolute liability on the ball though, regularly losing the ball leading to dangerous counter attacks. Was one of the goals v Swansea as well as the Stoke one a result of his piss poor play? There was a few times in the first half yesterday when we attacked where he didnt really make much movement. Even when he did have that half chance, had he moved earlier it could have been clear cut. -

Missed another really good chance did Gudjonson, which I'm actually seeing as a positive. As the forwards union always say, you're more worried if you're not getting the chance in the first place. His movement in the box has been good enough, we need to persevere with him. -

We were never purchased with Vs money , Collateral was allegedly put in SBI for SBI to issue an instrument e.g BG,SBLC or some form of FI, they launch that in a 3rd bank or an UK Branch of SBI and get a LTV(loan to value) or OD and use this to buy rovers and spend on rovers .... ROVERS are declared an overseas investment to SBI ...which is why the MOFI came after them when they allegedly used funds for parties and buying residential unit which the facilities was not intended for ... i'm not a financial forensics journalist but i'm in the sector to vaguely put 2 and 2 together ... which is why i can safely say ... the lynchpin is Suhail and puppeteers either Kentaro and Co... incase anyone ask what Vs have to gain ... Overseas money channel , inflated contract for patsies , a payment vehicle overseas for local favors ...PRISTIEGE of owning ENGLISH TEAM ... i can go on ...

Ismael 4th Sept 2025: "I know there were a lot of questions about our centre-back and why we lost one. But we knew, or I knew, that with Hayden, Scott, Lewis and Sean, we were really, really strong in that position." Do you still think the same, 19th Oct 2025, Valerien? Managed decline, combined with outright stupidity, has never really been a formula for success. -

I just cant fathom the logic behind sticking in a young midfielder who isnt good enough full stop, in at a position he is unfamiliar with, purely to have a right footer at centre back. -

Gudjohnsen didnt "battle well" yesterday. His incompetence to keep the ball led to a few dangerous counter attacks which has been a common theme across his 3 starts. -

If you insist on playing 3 at the back you go with Pickering. He’s done it before with some success. He wasn’t on the bench yesterday though so either he’s injured or spoken out against Rudy’s bullying or Big Val’s birthday bash. -

But we only managed to score 1 goal in this apparent majority of dominant play (which is IMO untrue) and conceded 2 through the opponents quality and our incompetent defending. Therefore, we deserved what we got. -
