  1. Past hour
  2. They had the Lancashire rose in last seasons kit. Downgraded to a stem.
  3. If Travis doesn’t get the money he wants then I wouldn’t say that’s his Rovers career done. Could take Dolans stance and see out his contract. Get more than enough season after as a free, and wouldn’t put it past these owners for allowing him to do it
  4. A bit like with the fans, the first one or two occasions where we chucked away good chances at promotion could conceivably be down to mistake, error of judgment etc. But it's happened now 3-4 times in the last 5 years. The players have worked their backsides off to get us into January in the mix and the regime has done absolutely nothing to help get us through the second half of the season. Instead they've simply expected more from the same players, run them into the ground, forced good managers out and continued to cut costs. People have started to realise that it isn't down to luck, misfortune, error or any other excuse. It is down to the regime, the very same remains in firm control today. If you are a player wanting to achieve success in the game you clearly aren't going to do that here. Even if we surpass all expectations and get into contention at Christmas this regime won't thank them, reward them with improved terms, or move to help them by bringing in quality reinforcements. And inevitably it will fizzle out, just as it has every year. The regime isn't changing course, it is doubling down. Why anyone would want to stay here after the events of the last 3-4 years is anyone's guess. At least at another club there's a chance they might try if they get to January in with a shout. Because that's all people ask for - to try - I'm afraid nobody associated with this regime can honestly claim that we've tried the last few years.
  5. relegation is going to happen is`nt it,sooner or later
  6. I’m not naive enough to think that money and contract length aren’t key points for renewals. But I heard from a good source towards the end of the season that a lot of senior players aren’t happy with how the club has been over the last couple of years, especially with the manner of Eustace leaving. Since then we’ve had Waggot depart, giving Suhail more control, and the shambles of the women’s team. I suspect the likes of Brittain and Travis don’t really want to renew. It’s just being leaked as financial as that’s the only way to save face. Similar with Baath. As a regular starter you think he’d sign up straight away for another season. He could want two years. But he could just want out.
  7. poor attendance and a really annoying walk on introduction, players coming on individually hailed by a screaming banshee🙂
  8. Travis has been an important player for Rovers in recent seasons, able to break up attacks, engage in much needed shithousery and galvanising those around him to make better contributions. You only need do the sums on the points tally with him in and him out of the side to see that there is something about the lad that other midfielders just don't bring to the party. I appreciate he isn't technically gifted, a crowd-pleaser or a clear match winner, but mark my words, if he goes we will lose steel and leadership in the middle of the pitch and we will start to concede more frequently than when Travis is playing (for us). That is, of course, unless there is a cunning plan to replace him with someone able to do what he does for a fraction of the cost... But Professor Cunning, whose cunning is more devious than the most cunning of cunning foxes from the university of cunning, sadly no longer goes to Rovers, as he got fed up with being taken for a jessie. Whatever that is. VENKYS OUT!
  9. imo the shirt as a important '150 years' celebration is... disappointing. Hopefully, the away kit will be better.
  10. As far as I'm concerned, we've done well at each tournament under Southgate, but just fallen short. The whole luck thing falls apart when the exact same "logic" (I use the term loosely) is applied to losing as well as winning.
  11. They'll order 1,000 to be on the safe side, all S or 5XL
  12. Correct. My mistake 🤚🖐
  13. im`e not against that, however,do you trust the morons to bring in a player who is the same ability or better?????,as we all know, the money mysteriously disapears when we sell a player
  14. Got there about 5.45pm and straight in, no waiting, very simple process to buy one, 5 minutes in the queue and got the home shirt today. Fits well on me. Not over busy when I went buts seem plenty of fans turned up Bar open for anyone who wanted a drink. Good move. Staff very helpful. Yasir Sufi was there engaging and talking to fans. Shame yesterday leak spoilt it But pleased Rovers did such an event like this .
  15. I'm a 2XL from last season and the new one is same
  16. Am I the only one who actually wouldn’t give Travis anymore money than he is already on? Yeah ok he runs around, so does Mo Farah! We have Tronstad who is better at breaking up play there’s no need for two defensive sitting midfielders. Travis doesn’t score, doesn’t assist & gets booked constantly My opinion sell to the highest bidder
  17. Seems like it’s a crowd pleaser, the beauty of our kit is it’s hard to actually mess it up although we’ve managed it a few times in the past. I wonder what the worst selling kit of recent times has been, the light blue Zebra one wasn’t great but different enough to appeal to some I bet edit my least favourite of recent years was 2 years ago with the weird light blue collar and totally shit sponsor
  18. Went at 6pm. No queues, straight in & the staff were very helpful. The kit is lovely, I prefer it to last seasons rip off of the ‘95 kit. Fingers crossed for a special edition one off shirt for the actual anniversary but no complaints from me on this one - the colour of blue spot on ⚪️🌹🔵
  19. Today
  20. Any plan for a Special 150th publication Parsonblue?
  21. Big following from the Duchy, probably up to 1,000. 3,000 on the waiting list for Argyle season tickets.
  22. Perfectly summarised. Still people don't recognise that we are in the midst of an existential crisis under these owners, there is no future, no growth, no plan, no ambition, at the very best we tread water under a zombie administration making a competent job of whatever resources they chuck our way until either the staff/players get fed up and go elsewhere or our wonderful owners smash it all to bits again because they feel like it. Every day, week, month, year this regime continues its poisonous grip on BRFC is simply more and more time and distance we fall behind just about any other club with competent fit ad proper ownership. Ultimately there will be nothing left, only by then it will be too late to recover from.
  23. Clearly a large number of supporters would disagree with you looking at the photograph outside the Jack Walker Stand tonight.
  24. It's on C5 at 19:00. Kick off isn't till 20:00. Some games clash with the U21 tournament.
  25. Venkys would rather be Kings of the Ashes of BRFC and Ewood Park than leave via the back door and hand it to someone else, they'll drag the club into the gutter and hollow it out until it scarcely resembles a professional club rather than just admit defeat and sell it. The myth that there's no interested people out there, based on a curious blend of Stockholm syndrome and the Walker Trust's failings almost 20 years ago, has been dismantled many times over the last few years. Vile people only interested in their own egos and power rather than the greater good.
  26. all the contract renewals should have been sorted out last season, now look at the mess we are in,******* bunch of chancers and imbeciles running the show
