  1. Past hour
  2. I doubt it’s 250k for trav closer to 1mill but yes I take your point and agree
  3. Michalski is not ready. There are no cup games until Jan partly because of his performance. We have to have senior cover because if he is chucked in at Championship level, it will cost us points. None of that is a criticism, hes 18. Shouldnt be an immediate Championship deputy.
  4. This. And the most worrying thing is that this wasn't just a one-off mistake, he makes them regularly. When you throw his positional deficiencies into the mix, it just baffles me how he's played so many games for us. Being a decent shot shopper just isn't enough for a GK at this level, you need to have a rounded level of general competence - and Pears just doesn't have it. As a backup to Toth, I don't mind too much. But I would much prefer Michalski to get the opportunity to play our cup and occasional league matches (unless a decent loan can be found for him).
  5. If you don't want any other Sky apart from Sky Sports, then you can normally get a sub £30/month deal with Now TV for just the Sky Sports package, as long as you sign up for a minimum term. This doesn't include TNT sports, but it is a lower budget option that may suit some
  6. Yep, when the truth is we are willing to risk vital points tomorrow with having a stronger squad for the sake of hustling for another £250k for Trav. Whilst also waiting another few weeks for clubs to be more desperate to off load players for cheaper.
  7. This is the man who accuses someone of swerving questions, and at the same time is unable to give a yes or no answer when asked, at least half a dozen times, if he has read Glens minutes
  8. Today I’m going for a continued silence on Travis and contracts confirmation we’re slightly closer to a signing but nothing imminent another spiel about transition and bedding the new players in
  9. They'll be flipping him to Burnley for a few million once they are back in the Championship again.
  10. Not only that, Michalski sat on the bench week after week will also stifle his development, which in the medium & long term benefits neither Rovers, nor Michalski He needs to be out on loan in the National League or NLN playing week in, week out (also given his age, a non league loan would mean he could be recalled outside of a transfer window should Rovers have an injury crisis) But hey ho, saving a few pennies in the here & now is all that matters, apparently
  11. It's £60 for a new Sky Q subscription with Sky Sports HD
  12. Its not harsh. Hes 18 years old, it would be harsh on him by the club to expect him to be second choice at this stage. I didnt say I want Pears to stay. I want him to be replaced really. If he did stay and/or in the mean time, he should be second choice over Michalski. To be fair, Venkys were the ones who nearly relegated us single handedly. I certainly dont rate Pears, but my point is that he is still a more capable deputy than an 18 year old who clearly isnt close to being ready for Championship football. I would want a new senior goalkeeper but such is the cost cutting, they will probably want a kid who is clearly nowhere near ready to be backup.
  13. Today
  14. Absolutely the same. Still can't believe he did that in such a crucial game. Thank god for Sammie Szmodics. I want Pears gone and out of the club, worst keeper we've ever had.
  15. Not much of a crisis they've got like 3 players out, the latest being Crooks, unless the mystery virus turns out to be particularly rampant.
  16. Pre covid there weren't anything like the number of Friday night and Saturday lunch time kick offs. You have very little empathy for anyone or anything as long as it doesn't really affect you and as far as I can see that's the bottom line.
  17. I know that back when I was in the UK the commercial pricing for sky sports was obscenely expensive. That's why so many pubs had Norwegian coverage on. But still, there's a difference between the Bowling Green and a multi million pound business supposedly owned by supposed billionaires.
  18. Obviously the bar/pub pricing is not cheap enough for Suhail’s liking.
  19. Not quite- still playing in Mexico, at Monterrey.
  20. Yes, definitely. Especially when you don't get Sports with it at that price and people will want other subscriptions that are all £10 a month as well (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Discovery + etc).
  21. I got told a few years ago a pub near me got done for illegal streaming that for business that subscription is based on the size of it. His was silly money then and couldn't make a profit and went out of business.
  22. Very harsh on Michalski. First game and was nervous. Pears isnt even 3rd choice and would I suggest it has nothing wages but the possible actions his over the summer You wanted rid of Pears for ages now you want him to stay as number 2 to Toth
  23. Is Sky Subscription really expensive at £30 a month? Given the amount of quality sports on there, well worth it. Maybe not for yourself but for other sporting fans. Its not about Football why we have our Sky sports Subscriptions.
  24. Apparently there is a story about Hull having to play the club cat against us because of an injury crisis behind a paywall somewhere...
  25. Not surprised he is more suited to La Liga than the Championship although his tricks are perhaps more likely to result in a career ending tackle cum gbh assault. At least Ramos has retired...
