the fans can’t keep blaming the referees aswell, the refs can’t put the ball in the net for us… Even with a good ref we lose that game. -
2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂

It's like the last 15 years never happened. As has been said by many, this regime have hit the jackpot with this fanbase. We have read this script before, replacing experienced championship players with cheap foreign punts will only end up one way. Now while I dont automatically think we'll be relegated, I don't see us spending any significant time outside the bottom 6 this season. Another record broken by this ownership yesterday, it's the first time we have lost our opening two home games at this level or lower since 1956. -

Some of the over reaction in here is ridiculous, yet not surprising. Off the back of a defeat, many of our so called ‘supporters’ believe we are destined to league one after 4 championship games. New signings have been written off already and we’ll end the season on -100 points due to how shit we are. I’ve seen posts criticising the happy clappers on Facebook but if you came on here you’d think we had just hired (the man who’s name will not be spoken) again. I don’t know how some of you function with your pessimistic outlook and BPD traits. We are only 4 games Into the season and whether we like it or not the singings are going to take time to adjust (new league, country, moving house, new language etc.) to judge them now is unfair. I know 75% of the people on this forum want us to go out and reinvest the money Venkys have brought in to sign some ‘proven championship experience’ but again, this isn’t going to happen. You can sit on the other side of your computer/phone and become more and more irate looking at your Suhail Pasha screensaver or you can realise that it’s going to take a little time and try to be more reasonable with your judgement. I can guarantee you will feel better 👍 -

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
MarkBRFC replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Is that over there first 16 games each, or is it over Ismaels 16 league games vs Coyles 31 league games? I'm guessing the latter, if we're going to be fair we should compare there first 16 league games against each other. Ismael - Won 5, Drew 3, Lost 8 Coyle - Won 3, Drew 4, Lost 9 18pts from 16 games for Ismael, 13pts from 16 for Coyle. -
Out of habit folk still going in there is reckon. Was willing around the fanzone and the big screen was off (not that you can tell what's happening when its on anyway) then all of a sudden the Middlesbrough/Sheffield Utd game came on for the last 10 minutes. Such a odd and strange set up at the club these days.

De Neve, Henriksson and Tavares are particularly poor. We're in massive trouble if those 3 end up as regulars. -

Sides will be licking there lips playing against a midfield with Sidnei Tavares in it this season. Funniest thing I have read/heard in ages that he's an upgrade on Travis. -

It’s no coincidence that loyal and genuinely nice people like Christine are leaving. The place is toxic and anyone, who has an ounce or self respect has had enough. -

He's had 16 games. Not four games. Neither the twelve games last season nor the four games this have been impressive. They've been really poor. -

Can't judge the season on a few games, but the 'bad luck' and such will need to change. Iv only seen highlights but Kargbo had a guilt edge chance to maybe steal a point. 100% a sending off.. wasn't fast enough and stupidly pulls back, cost us the game. -

Noted Ben Chrisene's name on Norwich's team sheet. Another loanee who did little to nothing and goes on to be decent (although, not sure how far he'll go). It seems odd that quite a few loanees come to Rovers and barely make a mark only turn into decent players, be it Ayari, Branthwaite, Morton (who, it's true, played a fair few games and I just saw is playing for Lyon). Part of it will, admittedly, be the nature of short-term loans. It's hard for any player, even the most talented, to have an impact in a short period. Yet, part of it must also be some disconnect in the transfer policy. [Eg. did Eustace really want Ayari and Chrisene (and Koumetio)?] and also, in cases, just poor management.
