Enjoyed the game today. Norwich by far the better team in the first half and we were fortunate to be only one behind at half-time. McLoughlin badly caught out for the penalty and red card. However, I was impressed with our second-half display and thought we were unlucky not to come away with a point. There was much to be admired about our display with ten men but the lack of a goalscorer is a major issue at the moment. It's early days, and considering the major changes we've made to the squad, it's going to take time to come together. However, I feel confident from what I've seen so far, that this squad is capable of more than holding its own against most teams in the Championship.

I think our best team, once people are fit will be the below. Toth Alebiosu, Hyam, McLaughlin, Ribeiro Hedges, Tronstad Baradji, Morishita Cantwell Gudjohnsen Kargbo, Travares, Hendriksson and Ohashi and Carter as first option replacements

The most frustrating thing about Gueye is he has all the attributes and opportunity to be a successful footballer but for whatever reason (effort? commitment? desire? intelligence?) is going to let the opportunity pass. He should be doing extra hours drilling every week - even if that means paying Danny Graham or Jordan Rhodes out of his own pocket. He’s certainly paid enough to do so.

Over hyped fees for the gullible, fanciful add-ons for if we win the PL - IMO, it's all bullsh1t. IMO, there'll be more money coming into the coffers than is leaving and there'll be huge savings on wages to boot! Pretty sure he'll be with us on Tuesday. Can you see anyone taking him? If I could get a bet on Hyam leaving before the window closes then I'd be on it! A depressing night. Think Gestede's transfer strategy, if you can call it that, is about to spectacularly unravel and backfire.

Gueye has just never been the answer. His one sole use is to be physical and cause unrest, he doesn’t know how to Chanel that effectively however

Gueyes a big clumsy waste of money who trips over his own feet. A drunk from the fox and hounds could have done better. There's one for Ismael, a drunk from the fox and hounds instead of Gueye.

I don't rate Gueye at all. He has some physical presence, but his smile and crazy attitude have never ever washed with me. He had to do some good on the pitch, and I've never really seen it. Calling Gueye thick is not right in my opinion, but I do agree that he needs to move on. Furthermore, I don't think Ismael particularly rates him, which is all that matters no matter what we think.

How are we reconciling Gueye's 1 in 3 record against Arnor's 1 in 6 in the Belgian league

Operation piss the fans off obviously in full swing. Maybe the licence for the Sky covers the whole ground and they'd forgotten to turn the channel over. The plebs in Blues havent paid £15 a head to watch it in Jack's kitchen so therefore aren't entitled to watch it I presume. Even though it's available.

How do you think Simon Garner would have gone on playing up front on his own in this team ?

Kargo was pathetic. Tavares was off at halftime but it would have been better to get Kargo off then and not wait until 70 min. He was either static, on his arse or watching the ball run away.

Ohashi is more of a striker than a number 10. Hes just average. Gueye on the other hand is dreadful.

Why does anybody have to get angry? I'm certainly not. The defeats hurt, but I can accept that the club is in a transitional state. It certainly sounds like the Travis situation was dropped on us very quickly, and these players will need time to gel. Surely that's not an unreasonable point of view.

You won’t get a ban for it, that’s silly. You’re more than welcome to your opinion as long as it falls within the site rules, which everyone (including me!) has to follow. I think Gueye has shown over the past year that he doesn’t have the intellect to play football at this level. Perhaps calling him “thick” was a bit too brash, more of a “say it in the pub to your mates, but not on Twitter” comment, but I stand by the sentiment. I can reel off four or five occasions where he’s done things which lead me to believe he’s isn’t clever enough to be a success at this level.
