  1. Past hour
  2. Everybody apart from the powers that be above Ismael would agree with that. Pickering I quite liked at centre half in a back 3, think he would struggle massively in a back 4 though.
  3. It was obvious it wasn’t cramp. I wonder if Chaddy will be big enough to admit he was wrong ?
  4. Atcheson isn’t ready. I’d give Pickering a go there before any of the young players.
  5. I can check on Andy, as my brother lives next door to him.
  6. Think they fly out on Sunday, no chance they get a couple through the door by then. I can't imagine anyone above Ismael is too bothered. Atcheson will get some good minutes now and probably be thrust into the side at the start of the season. Call up Litherland to make up the numbers in Spain.
  7. I’m certainly not envious of Millwall giving some sort of trial to a bloke who turns 33 in September because he has a promotion under his belt 2 years ago. Doesn’t fit the bill for Ismael and throwing money down the drain
  8. The Flamingos - I Only Have Eyes For You
  9. Massimo Luongo is training with Millwall. He is an experienced Championship central midfielder who won two promotions with Ipswich recently. He is 32 though and won't fit the latest 'project' we seem to have burdened ourselves with.
  10. I was on the other side and couldn't tell but there didn't seem any immediate concern from the doctor and physio who both ambled on to the pitch. I thought Ismael's description of cramp seemed misguided, I mean how many professional athletes get cramp after after half an hour. I like Carter but his injuries are a real source of frustration. Last season he had two lengthy spells out with knee and calf injuries and now a hamstring problem. On a separate note I noticed the regular physio, Andy Proctor wasn't there on Saturday.
  11. I watched quite a lot of it because it's football, the alternative being the Women's Euros. Chelsea players have 3 weeks off before home friendlies against Bayern Leverkusen and AC Milan on 8th and 10th of August then their first league game against Palace on the 17th.
  12. Very good that. I note that Suhail was there, did VI come, by any chance? Given that the minutes will be submitted to the EFL they will have to accurately reflect what was said. Did the club, try to keep anything off the record?
  13. Allegedly he was at Brizzles training ground a few weeks ago.
  14. I posted somewhere else on this, but from where I was sat at Accrington, it looked Carter had pulled his hamstring to me.
  15. So so predictable something like this would happen but it's just sooner rather than later. Which academy lad can they throw in now ?
  16. We need to sign 2 centre backs. 1 isnt enough considering how much of a sick note Carter is added to Wharton being out for so long.
  17. The priority position for new signings might just have changed. I have been told Hayden Carter is out for five weeks as a result of his 'cramp' at Accrington. That leaves Hyam and Wharton as our centre halves with any experience and Wharton is having his game time carefully managed. How we could do with a player like Danny Batth right now...........oh wait a minute.
  18. Hoping we get 1-2 deals done on players in before the Spain trip.Think I’m setting myself up for disappointment. We are so behind the curve. Hate watching our competitors being active. But hey In the mean time all they promote is merchandise and tickets. I can’t run fast enough to purchase πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
  19. Today
  20. I feel like members got their points across and explained what the issues were very well. People spoke with passion and conviction, which is all you can ask for, really.
  21. You said it not me but I suspect you're not a million miles away. I thought it might have been Todd Cantwell. He seems to like dropping hints on Dolan's future without his say so.
  22. Can't give an exact timeframe on the release of the minutes, but hopefully, it's sooner, rather than later. No need for anyone to regard themselves as peasants for not having the information immediately and certainly no need to have any concerns about them being edited. In all fairness too, the meeting was nearly 2 hours long last night, so any minutes won't include it verbatim...... In any event, if I don't feel the minutes included something vital, either myself, or one of the other posters on here in attendance, would share that with the forum.
  23. Maybe I am just cynical, and if so, then the passage of time will prove me wrong, but it does make you wonder if the person who registered on the site 7 hours ago for what seems to be the sole purpose of making one post about his wikipedia page, just might have been the person who edited his wikipedia page?
  24. As anyone can edit a Wikipedia page, might just be someone being mischievous or could actually be a tease by Dolan for the eagle eyed as to his destination. Good luck to him if it is them. I'm sure he'd be on a wage more commensurate with his ability than he'd be on here.
  25. Based on last time they will be out in about 4 weeks. Of course they should be published within 48 hours but those attending know the information so no rush. Takes a long time to concisely write up (edit) 3 hours into 2 pages for the peasants.
