True, none of us (other than the keepers) know how good or otherwise Benson is. It just gets a bit tiresome when people with no knowledge of his ability as a coach criticise him with no foundation.

I dont have an opinion on whether he is good or not, but players will always praise them. Means absolutely nothing.

As always, I think the 3 stooges (now 2 stooges) have just been lying to us consistently. Clearly the court case in India is having a serious impact on the club and despite a few leaked stories about players signing new contracts or being in advanced talks with potential signings, we're more likely to see players like Travis, Tronstad, Hyam and Brittain sold to cover the costs for the owners. The club will spin any number of various lines to cover their backs, from blaming the players for being greedy or not blocking pathways for academy players. Its all bullshit and I'm fucking fed up with it all.

I have a gut feeling this window will see our squad decimated. A Playing side will be tailored to be merely competitive in keague one. Venkies will slowly grind us into dust. I fear for Blackburn Rovers football club. The big club loving footy authorities set up of being able to basically steal any good talent from clubs like us will not help. Had that situation not been in effect Phillips would be in our game day squad and we could be hanging a multi million price tag in him. I don't know about unseen clues, but there are plenty in the public domain. As already mentioned, a Government body, does not seize property for no reason and is unlikely to prevent them from funding their overseas company, without some assurances, for no valid reason. I am sure it will eventually come out, but as we have seen time after time, the owners, seem to want the fans to believe that they are honourable people and are in this for valid reasons. I would love to know what those reasons are though.

Indirectly it's all to do with Rovers i.e the funding set up from India to the UK for the (sole) purpose of financing the football club. The VH group is under investigation for specific issues that went array connected to putting money into the UK company that owns the club. Whilst the club itself isn't under investigation its ultimate parent company and financial provider is therefore everything it inter connected one way or another. Lets not go all Steve Waggot and pretend it isn't and personally i'm pretty convinced if the Indian authorities could crawl all over Rovers books and every transaction between VLL and BRFC they would. Not saying they'd find anything other than a few more cock ups but i'm not totally convinced either and i doubt they are but they've obviously nothing to go to date that we know about.
