  1. Past hour
  2. Nothing is off the table with this lot..nothing!
  3. Sandie Shaw - (There’s)Always Something There To Remind Me
  4. I hope we scrape just enough points to stay in the Championship this season, because I know that when we slip through the trap door, that will be it for a generation. At least a decade of lower league rubbish beckons when we eventually go down under this lot. Every other enjoyable aspect of supporting Rovers has been sucked out by the ownership. I still can't (can) believe the catastrophe that has occurred since the club was in 5th place last January. Complete self-inflicted disaster.
  5. So what would you do now? Change formation now back to 4-2-3-1 formation or stick to 3-5-2?
  6. We have got 15 points from 12 games since we changed to a back 3/5. Its hardly been a remarkable change in results.
  7. What a great open game Utd Bournemouth was. Perfect for neutral
  8. Is this a serious question? So you wont be attending then or aren't a STH then? No respect for fans who want to back the players and team?
  9. So he should have stubborn and stick to 4-2-3-1 formation and ignore getting results. Playing 3 at back got us results I would move back to 4 at back for Saturday game.
  10. 100% been written by a Dingle with the help of AI. Christ sake, who refers to "the gaffer" in an open letter. Simping, quislings everyone of them. I cant wait until the day we take back Ewood and make the collaborators squirm, chase them down Bolton Road with Tar and Feathers.
  11. Preview of tonight's U21 game, don't know why its saying Frank Vare might have earned the opportunity to step up to U21 level, he has been a fixture for the U21s for most of the season https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/december/16/preview--rovers-under-21s-v-watford-under-21s/
  12. It's a good market tbf. Problem is our ability to actually sign them with the new rules. Really a shame about Whitehall. He seemed like a very promising prospect at one time, always getting rave reviews, but suffered from almost perpetual injuries.
  13. No, they won't be anything close to what we need.
  14. I'm interested in this idea of the Rao's in the distance (who may or may not know/care about what is going on) and those (shady?) figures on the ground who perhaps control things. The rapidity and vehemence of the responses to the coalition's letter make me think of 2 things: First, there must be figures around (not the Raos) who have much to lose and have no hesitation in resorting to smears, threats and in the past violence to fans. Second, that the responses to the coalition on social media are working for the club and probably written/dictated by the club (again not necessarily the Raos). All imo and just thinking out loud of course 🙂
  15. There’s none so blind as those who cannot see. They deserve the Venkys, the rest of us don’t.
  16. You’d think so, but no. It’s ‘FFP’, it’s ’crap support’, just like it was ‘bad advice’ at one point. Never, ever the owners.
  17. But are they players knocking the door down saying to McCullum and Stokes to play me? Who are the openers/number 3 put there saying pick me? Do you need any? Are Emillo Gay or Ben McKinney or Tom Haines ready to Replace Crawley? Is Bethall ready to bat 3 and replace Pope? Should Smith bat 3 and not keeper with someone like James Rew at 6 or 7 with Jacks replacing Stokes long time as all round? Pope should have been dropped for this test for me
  18. I’m an actual Rovers fan and I didn’t sign it.
  19. Will be Crawley’s 62nd cap, the ninth highest for a specialist opener in English history… with an average of 31 (31!), he’s one lucky fella to be part of this set up (and being a Kent lad helps). Just think of the top players that never got near the number of chances he’s had
  20. But even then, surely they can see the decline of the club, identify the only constant during that time and work it out for themselves.
  21. Is anyone even bothered by the game, truthfully? I will have it on in the background i guess.
  22. Me too. My only source of optimism over the last few years has been their legal issues in India, hoping and praying that either a guilty finding or the restrictions placed on them would break them - that they would be unable to keep going and would have to sell it on or let it go. That hope is fading. It appears they have weathered the storm there. The only residual hope is that either the imminent relegation that they have created is enough of a blow (it wasn't the last two times they relegated us) or that a couple of years without any large player sales tips the balance. I'm not confident, but can hope.
  23. I'm probably missing something but I can only see it signed 'Actual Blackburn Rovers Fans'. Nothing official, traceable, no real names.
  24. Today
  25. I'm sure there'll be an accountant in another part of their monopoly very happy that they've consistently lost money here
  26. They're a quarter of a billion £ in the mud.. There must be an accountant in India banging their head against a wall wondering why they still own it too.
  27. I will be immensely surprised (though, oddly, relieved) if Venkys ever allowed the club to become bankrupt or go into administration. That would draw far too much attention. Any benefit Venkys are getting from owning this once great club is tied up within accounting considerations and/or avoiding revealing wrong-doing by someone/people. Because of this, I can't see them ever walking away, nor having the books taken and opened up through administration. I don't believe Venkys have any strategy beyond sustaining the status quo for the smallest outlay possible. And I am still unconvinced there is an identified protest strategy that will effectively address this unusual scenario. Combine this with some of the frankly depressing 'alternative views' and I honestly feel more hopeless about it all then ever before in the last 15 years.
