  1. Past hour
  2. sacking Potter isn't the answer and not after to 2 bloody games. What they need is signings.
  3. He wants to find players similar to himself. He is 6 4
  4. I can see the account and I read the posts when they do. Yes it is deffo someone in the know. I don't think the account really makes people turn on Travis. Some will natural cos he wants to leave. I don't get his desire to go to Derby but it must be his close relationship with Eustace, so fair enough. Its his choice. I thought Brittain would be the one player to re-sign here and how wrong I was
  5. I think they have had a lot of issues with fitness. Agyemang isnt fit, Morris only signed late, Weimann missed some of pre season due to injury, Bobby Clark isnt up to speed, Beck is injured and Brewster missed all of pre season. They also are obviously going to strengthen with Travis, as well as Johnston (right back) and they are looking at wingers.
  6. Surprised more 'expert' predictions didn't have West Ham down to struggle this season. I have posted I think they are likely to be involved in relegation fight. Sold one of their best attacking players and don't seem to have strengthened much. Potter's half-season last season was piss poor. I know he hadn't had the benefit of a pre-season but not sure how much value that really is - he had half a season to make some improvement but none was apparent.
  7. Voodoo in Benin - What you need to know Genuinely is the biggest religion in Benin apparently
  8. They dont want promotion, its not the 'project' FFS!!!
  9. They have a poor squad but still, surely West Ham have to get rid of Potter? Crap manager.
  10. No he wasn’t. Made his debut February 2024.
  11. I dont get why whether one England under 21 manager selects him or not, why that determines how highly rated he was across the board? Also, international selections are often weighted towards bigger clubs. Surely more reasonable logic is to look at the direct circumstances. Where we desperate to sell? Yes. Was it in the summer when clubs spend far more, especially on players not necessarily to slot straight in? No. Brings the price down.
  12. Not sure how many caps but yeah he was playing for them when at Bristol City
  13. 25 million Scott was with reportedly no sell on fee again I think Scott was being appreciated more than Wharton (wrongly) side and was starting ahead of young players at prem clubs for England u-21.I have previously said 25 max I think we would have gotten for Wharton I take your point about January spending but its rare a club are trying to push out a player as talented as Wharton for the price we sold him for .And for eg Spurs where looking for a midfielder like Wharton and if they favoured him over Gray they would have been putting a bid in when they knew we were desperate sellers rather than pay 30 for Wharton In the summer. We were playing poorly , Wharton had his share of poor games also as you would expect at that age It's my opinion that clubs had doubts about wrongly so...why is a lad who is obviously so talented not being picked for the England underage teams all the way up.The coaches must have had a reason for not selecting him, even with big club bias plenty of players from other championship clubs were being involved I wasn't sharing their doubts and every big club would pay a fortune for him now but after letting him prove himself at another PREM club
  14. We accidentally over-ordered 2XL shirts from Macron & so need players who fit them…
  15. Isnt pointing out the mistake "micro scrutinising" him and not supporting him?
  16. I can see this happening in the near future, the new players are still trying to gel in the team.
  17. they are definately rovers shills or telegraph employees being told to post happy clapping stuff, everyone leaving is a traitor and anyone coming in is an improvement and a good deal, come on please, nobody is that naive
  18. Just paid around Β£20m for the keeper from Leicester. Making Pears look like Brad Friedel.
  19. Yeah it’s me that’s dug myself into a hole over the Wharton fee.
  20. The way Derby are going, he might change his mind 0-1 after 68 min.
  21. Ismael is very much in your good books now, he can do no wrong.
  22. I’m not so much worried about him being ready, as opposed to whether someone who has spent the majority of their career in the Italian pub leagues is anywhere near as good.
  23. All fair points Parson. I get the feeling that Ismael and staff think Michalski can make an impact here and be a number 2 whilst developing here. I understand what you have about him going on loan and developing. Its a fair point. But we haven't be great at good loans for our players like Jake Garrett or Connor O'Riordan last season Given that Pears hasn't feature all pre season and the comments from Ismael plus these hair transplant rumours I don't think we see him again. Didn't Raya go on loan to Southport? Can I asked you for your opinion on Jack Barrett and whether you think he could make the step up to be third choice or not?
  24. If you cant see that the twitter account in question is someone on the inside, trying to manipulate fans against departing players and trying to make the club seem helpless in such situations, then I dunno what to say. It is someone who has a 100% record in revealing news. For that, they must be right up the food chain. Whether its one of Gestede/Sufi/Owen or someone they are purposely feeding news to, I dont know. The account aside from revealing incomings has been happy to repeatedly imply that Brittain and Travis have been unprofessional, have defended the club on contracts and claimed they were offered ages ago despite all of those players saying publically that they hadnt, and has got into spats with fans who have not swallowed the bullshit, even calling Glen Mullan a "doom merchant." For someone so keen on strong communication, you surely not only can see that but recognise that its grossly unprofessional from the individual and the club to communicate like this from behind an anonymous twitter handle. I did expect Travis to leave but only because of our pathetic inability to sort contracts out. I also knew that these issues would totally overshadow everything else. Its depressing to see another key player leave and replaced this time by a guy relegated from the Swiss league, on loan, who is injured.
  25. Weimann and Sanderson been really weak
  26. Derby look atrocious - they've regressed badly since last season. Bristol look pretty handy also, some clever play.
