  1. Past hour
  2. Because it is easier & cheaper to let them leave. No "pesky" contract renewals (or the wage roses that will accompany that), & creates a "pathway" for our academy players
  3. Heard, of course there needs to be someone who will take them, but if those suitors come in, there gone.
  4. No. To correct the first paragraph. Version 1 was sent to the club before being sent to other attendees. As soon as it landed in my inbox I messaged Glen asking what he thought of them. As he hadn’t received them I forwarded them to him. We both came to the same conclusion on them, as did others on the forum at that time.
  5. I’m not pretending I’m fully aware of how the club is being run. That said the last page has been about cantwell leaving which is highly unlikely to happen this summer window given his wages his personality and stop start career of/when he goes it’s more likely to be in Jan if he’s performed well or next summer
  6. Perhaps, but the whole Anderson thing was pretty high profile at a time when almost everyone was angry at our ownership (time and maybe the young ‘social media’ fan base has swayed that). But if it came to light that Anderson is still involved, and has been throughout I think that would cause waves. (I doubt it is true otherwise we’d surely hear more about it, but just after quoting Mike who said there are rumours)
  7. I find it interesting that Glen says that Leonard has been frozen out. Seems a strange one to pick on, why? You would think they would want him as the number one man up front with him being an academy product and cheap?
  8. They can both leave and can both easily be replaced (ability wise) The club won't do it though so why are we happy for them to go?
  9. Cantwell can leave for me. Travis going would be a great shame. @glen9mullan is your assumption on the outgoings based on your view, or what you've heard?
  10. I think we would all rather keep him, because we want what's best for the on field side. I think Cantwell could really step up this year.
  11. Got no clue about any of the new lads but we will miss all the championship experience we have let go. Going for a 1-1, think we will be very low scoring this season but fairly solid at the back.
  12. No I’m talking in the round. But when you are doing it through Chat GPT through low level comms staff, then it’s to be expected.
  13. For what it's worth I dont think there will be many takers for Cantwell if any at the minute. Let's not pretend though, ig they can bundle him out of the door to save a few quid they will.
  14. I'm not arsed what he's done at rangers. The lad clearly has ability, he's frustrated the whole fan base last year (agreed) but I'd still rather keep championship experience in the team than lose them - Then there's the question will we replace?
  15. Another example here of why it’s important to add context to the minutes. Neither Glen, I, or anybody else in there demanded an apology from Venky’s. In response to Yasir stating that he didn’t believe pricing was the biggest issue regarding ticket sales, I agreed with him. I said that for me the biggest issue is people losing hope, being sick and tired of the same old mistakes, and that the significant drop off 13 years ago was due to people’s anger and frustrations with the owners. I suggested that if they want to start attracting those people they lost back then to return, then a little bit of contrition, and an acknowledgement from the owners of their mistakes might go a long way - although I did caveat this with we are now at the stage where actions are needed rather than words. I adied why every bit of comms that comes out of the club paints everything as rosey. You’d think we were highly functioning and free of any mistakes or issues - just show some acknowledgement! ”Balaji’s” statement yesterday shows it fell on deaf ears.
  16. And when he doesn’t leave what will be said? this has literally been made up and now people are jumping on
  17. Course he will, they always want more. The more savings they can present to there bosses the better. The state of the playing squad is of no concern to them.
  18. He is making out he is saving them money and with that one decision alone could have cost them £20m plus.
  19. One certainty today is that Rovers will be well supported on the road again.
  20. I will second every bit of your post. What a ridiculous post you have had to reply to there. I
  21. Brittain, Dolan gone, Travis on his way - That's a big chunk of wages saved. Cantwell won't leave for the reason above.
  22. I watched the BTS and he was pretty slow getting up from that volley, it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s how he got injured. But you can’t rule anything at at Rovers it seems.
  23. Oh come on, how on earth can you arrive at that conclusion. If you were prepared to fight the cause like Glen is fair enough, but you are now being controversial for the sake of it, unless you have a hidden agenda.
