  1. Past hour
  2. They might as well sell the hot water tank for scrap metal value, whilst their at it.
  3. Some serious problems in 2023-24 but mostly the usual bumps and scrapes over an 8 -year pro career Isak's a special player and although Rovers fans like to think so Wharton isn't at the same level. Would Liverpool take a big money risk on him? I don't think so
  4. Realistic British based CBs to replace Hyam with for 2m or under? Presuming we can pay a fee
  5. Hyam likely to be sold today. Oh dear, that's a massive blow. Can we even get a replacement in at this stage? Our leader and mr consistent at the back sold. That's not a good move at all for us. The spine of the team has been blown apart this summer.
  6. If we could get £3m - £4m for Hyam in the last 12 months of his contract, then it’s a great deal. But the fact it’s on deadline day and we all know we won’t get a competent replacement in, we can’t let him go this late.
  7. 16 goals in 82 appearanaces for Aberdeen. 26. Is he tall enough?
  8. One thing for sure if true ,Hyam will want to go . No fee , next May , fee today !
  9. Selling anyone today (except Leonard) would be a disaster unless the replacement in in the building and signing when we sell. Even then we don't have a good track record on deadline day...
  10. Sell Hyam and spend the last couple of hours scrabbling around trying to find a PL kid on loan who no-one else has picked up yet. What's Billy Koumetio up to these days?
  11. Huuuuuuge gamble considering they didn't think O'Riordan was up to it a month ago.
  12. I am far, far from Hyam's biggest fan but to sell him now would be utter madness and would be pretty much proof for me that our owners/"advisor" are keen to send us down this season.
  13. Jackson reporting that we've rejected two bids around £2m. Third bid expected and growing likelihood that Hyam will go.
  14. Yes, what you said was utter tosh, as not only was it factually incorrect, it also made no sense.
  15. Doubt the loan deal would include a recall clause until January, but certainly next year that will be the plan. If we do shift Hyam today I reckon we'd get a loan and Miller would become the starter.
  16. Hyam won't be sold today- it's just to tell him they want him in Jan.
  17. Majority have been saying O’Rourke is way off these days. But on deadline day we’re believing everything he says?
  18. Selling Hyam and Gueye without reinforcements is suicide. That said, we've only signed players immediately after selling one - so suggest that may be the two inbound
  19. Youan can play anywhere across the front 3, and we would have Ohashi/Gudjohnson as the starter. Even Kargbo can/has played striker before.
  20. SURELY selling Hyam is a step too far. Surely.
  21. It might be because I’m a bit deflated and out of the loop these days, but does this window feel different? Lots of business done across the leagues way ahead of deadline day so not much fuzz today. Can I say I kinda miss the transfer day chaos? Not the fax-induced PTSD or the like, but just the buzz that used to follow deadline day. Will he stay? Will he sign? Any «secrets»? Today….nothing. Just this stupid Isak/Wissa deal in the PL. Would love to see us do a «marquee» signing, but all signs point to a definite NO…just like the previous gazillion windows. Is it just me or does football kinda suck these days?
  22. Hyam to Wrexham, Connor O'Riordan recalled?
