  1. Past hour
  2. Hang on a minute, thought Markanday, as the better player, was going to be the Dolan replacement?
  3. 100%. Don't care what anyone does, but I'd still poke at my friends if they'd 'diehard' supporters of one club but throw on a shirt from another in the same country. My nephew lives in London, 'supports' City, but also has a soft spot for United, Liverpool, and Arsenal...🙄 Taking him to watch Portsmouth v Rovers this season didn't do a lot to convert him.
  4. I suspect Weimann’s new contract will be a reduced-wage token gesture.
  5. You know you are scraping the barrel when he has scored only one and assisted only two, that you are trying to make him seem like a good attacking player by highlighting simple passes well before the actual goal was scored.
  6. A reminder that, forgotten amongst the comedic failure to press send on McGuire, was another sign that Venkys had pulled the plug.
  7. Have we been ruthless? Id argue ruthless would have been getting shut of Hedges and also on the back of his age and current injury status, not offering Weimann another year.
  8. Cantwell goal against Watford in the home game, his pass to Dolan who pass to Ohashi to cross for Cantwell to finish https://x.com/garysmith2301/status/1916150816748011598 Hedges's pass to Woodrow who pass to Dolan the winner at Sunderland https://x.com/Witchwalker70/status/1914327228483072277 Hedges's pass to Ohashi for the winner at Luton and what a lovely weight pass https://x.com/Witchwalker70/status/1911074914070671535
  9. We arent a serious club anymore.
  10. Not suitably impressed by him running a bit and passing the ball wide in the build up to a goal? Its just chronically low standards that sadly weve naturally got now whereby we look at an attacking player who is so poor in attacking positions and give him a new deal because its cheaper to do, its easier to do and we fear getting someone even less effective.
  11. Ruthless, agree with the majority of the decisions. Possibly would have kept Markanday as back up, but hasn’t shown enough at championship level to warrant another contract.
  12. You forgot to mention he's happy to be here because he's playing a level above his natural one.
  13. Name another goal he was involved with.
  14. poor val,he`s not had the summer budget downgrade yet,1/1 he`ll walk away at the end of january
  15. Hope that they’ve offered Batth a proper contract and they’ve not tried to lowball him. Slightly worrying they’ve not announced him as signing on if they’ve offered a contract already.
  16. Or maybe Broughton and other staff had done all that was needed, told the media boys to release it but then Venkys and their slippery stooges pulled the plug.
  17. everyone thought the paperwork had gone through, it hadn't.
  18. I see Hedges a good squad player and I like him. He was very often involved in our goals towards end of the season, like Ohashi goal at Sheffield.
  19. Whilst the main talk of the retain list is for the first team, this is what we now have available at U21 & U18 level Is 8 keepers overkill? A couple of these players are overage (or will be next season) * = contract offered GK - Michalski, Barrett, Goddard *, Honor, Kahn, Thompson, Wolsoncroft, Holt CB - O'Riordan, Atcheson, Litherland, Pratt, Davies, Olson, Decandia, Kelley-Quinn LB - Batty *, Powell, Pates, Leeming, RB - Duru, Houghton, McIlroy (technically a centre back, but has played right back for the U18s this season) CM - Garrett, Montgomery, O'Grady-Macken,, Dunn, J.Edmondson, Farkas, Vare, Mansbridge, Potter, Ball AM/Wingers - Tyjon, Wood, A.Doherty, Strich, Dlamini, Leatherbarrow, Sergeant, McCoy, Clanford, Lister, Mullarkey-Matthews * S - Leonard (presumably to build fitness), Boggan, Mafoumbi, Joseph, Higgins, Cryer Also Odogun, although I am not familiar of his position, from his instagram, it seems like we have taken him from Wolves No mention of Silver Eze, in either the retain list or new scholarship intake, so assume he has moved on I was surprised to see Rhys Doherty on the released list, Whilst never looking like he could eventually break into the first team, always looked fairly comfortable at U21 level & could play across the back 4, which would have been useful given a lack of depth at right back (in the youth teams)
  20. He didn't start either Playoff game. started 13 games in 21 games during the league, I think he is another one who need to leave and find first team football to develop and play regular football
  21. Maybe they don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
  22. Yeah like the social media team weren’t putting up stuff from ‘the boss’/‘the gaffer’ in the run up to an official approach from Derby…
  23. You’re happy we’ve triggered hedges, who hasn’t been a success at rovers.
