Granted theres a few plodders but even excluding the new £200 million strike force, last season they had some good players. Everyone just seems to get worse there. Shows how rotten the club is. In fact captain of the rubber dinghy. it's football, it happens, it's totally detached from "real" life. Bullying? Come on, get a grip,it's as cut throat as it gets. The days of pinning colours to the mast for any player are well gone. I'll wish him well, thank him for his efforts and move on, probably won't even give him a second thought when we kick off on Saturday. The good news here is that the club might actually be starting to work more "normally". Cashing in on both Britain and Travis who wouldn't sign contracts is a welcome change of direction.

David Raya?? Absolutely awful decision to flog him for what we did. I loved him and said across multiple platforms I thought he'd go to the top and play for Spain and a top team.. loaned in Walton as his replacement.. I used to love watching Raya warm up- so agile and amazing reflexes.. I'll never forget sitting their at ewood watching Walton warm up in a preseason friendly or training session at ewood and thinking 'Fuck me, what have we done!' Travis is a cracking player but he's not out player any more.. I certainly wouldn't advocate us spending 3m of our budget on him that's for sure..

Massively overstayed his welcome, especially when it was clear he had zero ambition. Brought us some stability then should have been replaced.

Hard to see how he comes back from this. United didn't turn up until the last 20 minutes against League Two opposition, and it's not like it was an u23's team selection out there. Couldn't have scripted drama like that though. A late equaliser from United, they look set to go through on pens, then miss their 5th penalty. The penalties then go on for so long that the takers are being recycled. The miss then comes from one of their brand new signings. I can't get over the visual of Amorim hiding on the bench during the penalties with his head down. That is ridiculous for any manager, let alone one at a supposedly big club. How can he expect his players to deal with pressure if he can't?
