No corners here, total open mind. I’ve already said, I expect c6,000, no different than Oxford. If it’s c3/4k then definitely a success.

Unless you've suddenly developed remarkable psychic powers you've no way of knowing whether it will be a "non boycott". Also you've painted yourself into such a corner with your view that a boycott "won't work" Im guessing you'll be insisting it hasn't worked unless there's about 50 people in the ground. Anyhow, we're just going round in circles and coming back to the similar points so will leave it there. Merry Christmas.

Ive already said. What the Coalition did last season to smoke the three stooges out their foxhole was excellent, plus use FOI through Lancs Police to get the fact a ‘boycott’ is already underway into the press. 6,000 people at a league game for Blackburn Rovers. A club that had an average crowd of 25,000 as these owners bought the club. There’s your story right there and will have just as much national media interest as this non-boycott will have, *plus* keeps match goers onside. As at the moment the only people winning with this are the regime as the fanbase is well and truly divided again.

All opinions 😉 McLauglin -doesn't score, not great header. Miller -tough but reckless but good leader. Gud -B+ sniffer in box (and needed) Albiousu -A- obviously been great but nobody is perfect -

All about opinions think McLaughlin and miller have been above average henriksson yea I can see - line his profile so probably upgraded morishita again for me above average 4 goal contributions in 17/18 games id take that that for new league and challenger for him plus his work rate and link up with Ohashi improving by game again I’m taking them on their own merit and not comparing on who they have replaced as if we did that then of course the squad is much weaker val was a generous c think I just felt sorry over the two abandoned games -

I would say that Henriksson as a D is very generous, hasnt offered any signs of being near the level required similar to Tavares and De Neve. McLoughlin and Miller I would also have as a C. I think both are noticeable downgrades. Miroshita would also be a C even though I like him as a player. I think as touched on, judging individually on the players doesnt paint a full picture on how imbalanced and thin the squad is. Overall the summer window was an E or an F. The league table somewhat reflects that. Ismael certainly would be lower than a C too. -

Out of curiosity who is generous and why? All a game of opinions and context for me but would be interested to see what others think my grading wouldn’t necessarily be based on their ability alone more coming into a shitshow and how I think they have performed -
Did you say what those alternatives are? Or your alternative is?

…and they won’t do that either as Saturday showed.

Some generous marks there imo. -
I think they do understand - that is why the coalition have requested that anyone not wishing to boycott the match to boycott food and drink in the ground and goods from the club shop.

Merry Christmas Rovers fans. Been a happy hunting ground for us in the past but they’ve probably got too much for us this year. Last time I went up there Paul Dickov won it at the dead and my mate did the Kuqi celebration and hurt himself. Simpler times! 😂 -

Hard to argue with the Michaelmas end of term report, but the picture is made even worse, when you consider the quality and experience that was jettisoned..presumably for not being "aligned". Still, I do confess to being excited by the recent glimpses of Baradji... I -
Exactly, Paul. Nothing will happen v Watford that isn’t happening already. But if you want to call it ‘official’ now, fine. Still don’t see why none of this couldn’t have been achieved through an FOI police request and a media campaign, which would have kept the remaining match goers in the tent. Like I said brfcs-ers and The Coalition don’t understand the actual reality of where the fans in the ground are. But crack on

I try to give players a chance so I think up to Xmas is a ‘fair enough’ period of time to judge players/new signings de neve - F - hasn’t worked out clearly league one level at best Tavares - F - see above Henriksson - D - reckless has shown small glimpses not sure champ football is for him liked the profile but isn’t working out Gardner Hickman - C - solid but not spectacular decent to have in the squad plays better with tronstad in the team can’t lead without him Miller - B - like him looks a decent pick up been solid and I think will only improve Morishita - B - 4 goal contributions finding his feet decent pick up McLaughlin - B+ - excellent pick up been impressed - not faultless by any means but can tell of the signings his experience has been crucial Gudjohnsen - A - goalscorer and looks it big second half of the season (hope the hammy isn’t too bad) Alebiosu - A+ - been player and signing of the season for us I didnt think Brittain would easily be replaced but he has made it look that (as close as can be as Brittain is a top 3/5 rb in the league) baradji - F - for signing an injured player when we needed fit and able players however on recent appearances I’d say could end up being B - decent level if injury free Val - C - jury still out for me on the manager however there have been some massive misfortunes out of his control and the league table might look a little better. Jan needs - rb/rwb / cb / cm / striker offload - Gueye him and Val clearly don’t get on - de neve not good enough henriksson maybe loan out pickering seems on his way which is a shame always liked him tyjon is anyone’s guess -

Joint best after 90 minutes** ** we have the best record by minutes played as whilst we’ve one fewer match we haven’t conceded in over two hours of abandoned games either. 🤔🧐 -

Recruitment at this level with no money and serious competition from so many similar clubs is always tough and always throws up a few duds. It can all be helped though by a Head Coach knowing the parts he needs for his machine and obviously having a good connection with the clubs recruitment dept and directors. Some players who can only do one job can be moulded into a side or squad when blended with others, Trav a great example. If feel we've missed that so often here because the focus has always been first and foremost fit players in who can be developed and increased in value rather than build the best first 11 you possibly can. That amongst other things has seen the last 2 gaffers walk and has now landed us fighting relegation. It's about time finally some lessons were learned and the focus switched. It needn't cost the earth.
