Here you go Chaddy If the club are refusing to publish these as an honest representation of the meeting, who do you think is lying - The club? Or every fans forum attendee who agreed that these minutes are accurate? -

Im not judging it based solely on one game, Im basing it on his 13 games since he's been here. I saw yesterday as a continuation of what happened last season. I might be proved completely wrong. Who knows. Let's hope so. The Forum would be a boring place if you didn't or couldn't pass an opinion until after something had actually happened. -

Version 2 do, but version 1 doesn’t. Is he not curious enough to read them and find out what is going on at the club he loves? He hasn’t read either yet, but can still pass judgment on those who have. Baffling. -

I agree regarding getting bodies in the box. We wouldn’t have scored the sort of goal they scored after 20 minutes of the game because we wouldn’t have have had enough players in and around the ball for it to fall to one of our players. Hedges and DeNeve won’t be there. Neither will Travis or Tronstad. -

A fan who does not read the minutes, yet is prepared to have a go at someone who has and is now wondering why the two versions differing so much, and now questioning the version that look suspicious. -

Yeah, some judge on the squad on quality and not just bodies you can write down on a squad list. Lacking any quality out wide, still short of pace, short of craft/technical ability, short of someone to take set pieces, and crucially short of goals. -

Squad overloaded with midfielders and bereft of attacking options both in terms of numbers and quality. -

Not enough forwards (wide or central) of the required quality, who can be relied upon to say fit and provide goals and/or assists -

But you just said you haven’t read the minutes. Please read both version 1 and then version 2 and answer honestly if you still can’t understand, why people are questioning him. -

I have had a go and said similar things to you. I will personally call him and apologise, if he warrants an apology, as like you, I can’t understand what he was thinking about, with version 1 of those minutes. -

Miller looks to be one that can look after himself. Axel is too obvious. Gueye never gets the benefit of the doubt off the refs so he’s treading a fine line before he starts. Abeliosu got wrestled too the ground too easily for me. I suppose we’ll see in the coming months who the fighters are. -

Wasn't Travis's best game yesterday but I thought he was the only one of the midfield who showed any heart or aggression. Showed how we'll be in even more trouble if we sell imo. -

Whilst most of us think we were toothless iv'e seen quite a few Baggies fans saying they are pleased how they tried to play but we looked a solid well organised side who largely stopped them and we'll do ok again. Seen a few also saying 'Dolan is a big miss for them'. -
It's a good job no-one is accusing him of being involved in the Great Train Robbery then! Completely disagree Mike. I think John (O2G) is a really nice guy and Im sure everyone who meets him will say the same. Nevertheless I dont see how that stops anyone from being able to disagree with him occasionally. I've complained in the past ( and received flak in the past from K Hod) about the apparent lack of resistance to Waggott just saying "Wont" "Can't" "Wasn't aware" or "We'll look into it" to everything at the meetings. According to the official minutes no-one said a dicky bird in response. I can only assume that everything that was said in the meetings wasn't recorded. Now it would appear from the last meeting that in the originally agreed minutes, not only have did we have large chunks which would have painted the Club in a bad light omitted, but embellishments that weren't said added to make the Club sound better. I.e. Pasha supposedly saying "sustainable but with the overall aim to becoming a viable Premier League Club" as opposed to just "sustainable" which was what GM and DM claim. If wondering why this appears to have happened is "a witch hunt" then I'll run down to the shops now and get my pointy hat. We've learnt more from this one meeting than we have from years of Waggott stonewalling questions. But none of it would have come out had GM and DM not dug their heels in about the minutes. If O2G thinks anything said on this thread is factually incorrect or correct but unfair because there's a valid reason for it Im sure he'll give his side upon return from holiday.

Not before January, it at all The rules (pasted below) state that conversions can be made based on playing time after 12 months, in which case, if Kargbo has played enough by then, then he can be converted. The rules sound fuzzy as to if Toth, who will have been here for 18 months by that point, can be converted - I think that he can, but it is up for debate Mafoumbi - no chance of converting, needs selling/releasing to get an extra ESC slot back this summer Henriksson - has to wait until next summer to see if he has played enough By next summer, given the lack of English players in the squad (who are likely to get minutes) we may well have our number of ESC splots reduced https://analyticsfc.co.uk/blog/2023/06/21/introducing-esc-the-new-gbe-guidance-opens-up-recruitment-post-brexit/ Converting ESC players into non-ESC players Helpfully, it is not the case that all players signed into the ESC slots have to remain there indefinitely. The goal, in many cases, will be for the ESC player that has been granted a work permit on that basis to convert to a non-ESC player. This process can take place after twelve months. At this time, if a player fulfils the autopass criteria for GBE or if they now meet the 15pt threshold through the calculations that have been in place since 2020, then they become non-ESC players with a GBE. This means that the player can continue to play in this country, and the club regains the use of that ESC slot. However, there is another way for the player to convert to non-ESC status. If the player plays in 25% or more of the club’s EQP qualifying matches over the twelve month period or if they play the required percentage of available minutes then they can be converted to a non-ESC player and the club regains that slot. That required percentage of minutes differs according to the level that the club play at, and the age of the player. The exact details are as in the table below: Required percentage of available minutes (ESC) League in which player participates ESC Player under 21 ESC Player 21 and over Premier League 15% 30% Championship 50% 50% League One 60% 60% League Two 70% 70% 2024/25 onwards Criteria However, from this season onwards clubs will be able to plan for the number of ESC slots that they have, with the possibility that they could only have one if the number of minutes for EQP is lower than 20%. Number of available ESC places Weighted EQP minutes % Premier League Championship League One League Two >= 35% 4 4 2 2 >= 30% 3 3 1 1 >= 25% 2 2 – – >= 20% 1 1 – – -

Apologies if this has been brought up before but will any of our ESC players convert to GBE any time soon ? Conversion: ESC players can be converted to a full GBE after meeting certain criteria, such as accumulating enough points or playing a specific number of minutes. This conversion frees up the ESC slot for another player.
