  1. Past hour
  2. Just to be clear, it’s not guilt. I don’t think this boycott will achieve anything other than a louder echo, or a load of nonsensical shit from the 168 Watford fans who turn up. What bothers me is I’m effectively forced to be in a divided group from other fans, because I paid for a season ticket last year and I don’t want to miss opportunities to take my dad out for the day. Even though we both agree with the idea that the owners have to sell up. That’s what he wants to do btw, because he’s done it for 60 years, so going to Darwen or Chorley isn’t a solution. I suggested staying in the club or staying down for the first ten minutes, but you can’t blame him for sticking to his guns. I have had a season ticket since 1990, but right now I’m done. My attending going forward is solely based on what family want to do.
  3. If we are to bring in one more striker then my guess would be Cadamateri. Looks almost certain to leave Sheff W, and fee/wages within our range. Also sell-on potential. Wouldn't be against signing him as I think he'd be decent, especially in lge 1 if we do end up getting relegated.
  4. What was said or shared on social media about Pears?
  5. He just makes it up as he goes along. Not sure why anyone takes anything he says literally.
  6. We have 2 left backs who clearly not play as wing backs. Ismael clearly doesnt want to use either there. We also have an absolute waste of space who again Ismael clearly doesnt want to use and one that he has called out for being a liability. We have spent weeks just sort of using 1, realising they arent capable of playing that position and then changing around. And he seems happy to just leave it.
  7. 3 in before the FA Cup, Val told us. This is an emergency situation, he said. We need proven domestic players, he added. Fast forward to today: Another punt from the Scandinavian leagues and a failed Birmingham loanee. And when asked "Would you be happy with just one more signing before the window closes?" Val: Yup!
  8. It could be wrong but it also could be VI not wanting to share that info in the window, as Mercer touched upon. If every club knows we need a striker then we will have our pants pulled down on fees.
  9. As others have already pointed out - the "seasonal slump" started in August this season. Will we notice a difference?
  10. Ohashi at most other Championship clubs would've been signed as a bench filler and impact sub. He seemed absolutely perfect for the role of coming on and using all that energy against tired defenders - The lovely dink on his debut against Derby and the last minute equaliser against Norwich spring to mind. Unfortunately for Rovers, their recruitment has been so awful that he's ended up leading the line pretty much ever since Ismael came in, which is just not what he's built for, and he looks absolutely shattered for it too, which I imagine plays a part in why he also appears absolutely useless these days...goal away at Portsmouth aside. I love the guy for his energy, but as soon as Gudjohnsen is back Ohashi needs to spend a few weeks on the bench.
  11. Give it a rest for heaven's sake.
  12. One interesting snippet from that article was that Sohail apparently sat a football management course in Manchester within the last year or two. If that is true then it demonstrates what we are dealing with here. Both he and Rudy learning on the job, zero experience or background and we are paying the price for it, all with the approval of our wonderful benefactors in India.
  13. .......................Toth ..........Oriordan Mcloughlin Pratt .......Miller Baradji Tronstad Powell ..................Cantwell ............Jorgensen Ohashi
  14. Indeed! It happens - past, present and no doubt the future.
  15. Powell is the obvious pick there
  16. Today
  17. 100% Slippery ground legally and can easily be used against the cause by the club. The drip feeding of this information is also incredibly annoying. We’ve waited long enough.
  18. A slump from current form would be losing 5-0 instead of 2-0.
  19. You did it when it wasn’t a crime, but now expect others to break the law on your behalf.
  20. Or your source has provided you dud information
  21. all back in time for our seasonal February slump
  22. Thank god the rumour was false as that would have been yet another nail in the coffin. It does feel like a case of self preservation rushing everyone back. Ismael also mentioned "hopefully" having a striker by next week and a total of 8 bodies on top of what we had midweek. Surely we arent thick enough to not bother with a left wing back.
  23. Just a further thought on Gudjohnsen. Ismael has been hammering on about how many injured and how desperate we are to get players back - won't have gone unnoticed in football circles. If a key player suffers a longer term injury just a week or so before the window closes and you need to replace, you wouldn't want the football world to know as asking prices for potential replacements would rocket. Think we should know soon if Rovers playing 'a straight bat'.
  24. The call to arms last season was nothing whatsoever to do with the Club being so badly run we witnessed the man who got us into 7th walk out to join a Club in the relegation zone of course!
  25. Agreed, talk about crack over any context whatsoever from the fans who have watched this steady decline. Propaganda rubbish!
