  1. Past hour
  2. When there’s a few games left of the season and it’s too late… as usual.
  3. They can be as well drilled as they want but if the tactics are crap you're still going to lose more often than not. For example: Russell Martin
  4. Why can’t he be blamed for it?
  5. Listen to him, he seems happy with his options Yes I would another keeper with championship experience with Toth Michalski. I never seem Goddard play He was nervous and he made a mistake. I deffo won't be writing him off after that Debut. Well he isnt for what ever reasons. Something has happened behind the scenes
  6. Well thank Christ you’re here to tell us how to be proper fans….. Whether you agree with people or not, they’ve a right to their views. Also, I’d say this isn’t just about 4 or 5 games, this is about 15 years of failure, downgrading and general under achievement. I’d say the fans have been more than reasonable for too long.
  7. It's 4 defeats in 5 including one against Bradford but sure. Can I ask how many games we're before we're allowed to point out what we're seeing with our own eyes?
  8. If results don't improve I can guarantee you we won't. But hey, you just carry on like the three wise monkeys with your fingers in your ears and your hand over your eyes pretending everything is just fine if it makes you feel better.
  9. Last week, after last week win, Tavares look good, Kargbo had an impact. After a loss, they shit now. Far too many of you lot are jekyll and hyde whether we win or lost. @callumroversand @Exiled_Roverposts are spot on. Player numbers means sod all these days.
  10. Another extremely frustrating afternoon. Turned on McLoughlin misjudging a bouncing ball that should have been dispatched over the Riverside and our attack failing to punish the slowest defence to visit Ewood in years. Kargbo is either injured or he has lost his pace completely since the start of the season. Gueye has been flagged offside more often than he has had legitimate touches this season... Second half Norwich eased off and the 441 of Rovers had more than enough chances to punish them. Positives are Hedges continuing to play well and Cantwell again applying himself and looking class. Ryoyo brief cameo was promising and enough to get him a start ahead of Kargbo. Toth continues to look secure. Shame Ohashi drive from his own half drifted wide in the wind... Apart from one baffling decision late in the second half thought we finally had an ok ref officiating irrespective of what Rovers TV rabbited on about.
  11. Almost as if downgrading the squad again as well as downgrading the matchday experience whilst also trying to rinse people for every penny they have makes them gote with their feet.
  12. More a case of chronic amnesia, puerile blinkered syndrome or simply a huge dose of the WUMps. I get the sentiment, but it disregards the vast amount of life experience (and long history of supporting Rovers) that many posters have, with which they are able to form valid judgements rather than vacillating around unjustified optimism. Bah. Humbug.
  13. I talk about this with the players I coach all the time. You have to take ownership of your own role in mistakes. Refs don’t miss chances, they don’t let goals in, etc. We lost yesterdays game because they completely dominated the first half, the sending off is a result of that domination. Second half we cost ourselves with our inability to hit the net/ lack of quality in final pass
  14. I totally agree that we need to give the team more time to gel. What worries me is the quality of players in front of me bar Cantwell, Tronstad, Toft and Alebiosu. We are lacking depth and a couple of injuries to key players will create serous problems. We appear to be following the Poundland business model and look what happened to them. Instead of that pathetic TIFO (it was embarrassing yesterday given the small numbers in the BBE available to hold it aloft) we should bat a new banner made “Poundland Rovers”?
  15. The worry for me isnt really the players, it's the manager. He hasn't exactly got a good track record so a betting man will say he's not going to improve much . A worry is he seems to be closer to the RG SP...Will they ever sack him? Can we even afford too?
  16. People saying the Board are smashing it are absolutely correct. Smashed the squad that came 7th Smashed the club that Jack built. Smashed the town of Blackburn...
  17. I for one really enjoy being told how to react to my football team losing their 4th of 5 games so far this season.
  18. I think his point might be that VI's win % is shit.
  19. Sky Sports is available on concourse pre match
  20. There were NO dead rubbers. Right? So what your overall point here? Are the players playing for Ismael? Does the team look well coach and drilled?
  21. Kargbo and Travares were both poor yesterday but both have had impacts on previous games...People writing them off already need to get a grip sadly. They won't be starters once everyone is fit but we know what Kargbo can do when he comes on. Travares just doesn't have the genes Travis does, as in the nitty gritty, but has shown glimpses that's he's an okay player at this level.
  22. Is this yet another cost cutting exercise? Rovers used to pay for a guy with a falcon to come to the stadium a couple of times a week to scare away the pigeons and seagulls. It now appeared that we have a plastic falcon instead. Any ideas of a nickname for the plastic falcon? I fancy ‘Pasha the Pretend Peregrine’. I just had a closer look at the above photo. The paint on the roof steelwork is peeling away and the Brian Douglas plastic wrap is starting to peel off. Some basic maintenance needs to take place.
  23. How are you able to operate a computer having been born yesterday?
  24. the fans can’t keep blaming the referees aswell, the refs can’t put the ball in the net for us… Even with a good ref we lose that game.
  25. It's like the last 15 years never happened. As has been said by many, this regime have hit the jackpot with this fanbase. We have read this script before, replacing experienced championship players with cheap foreign punts will only end up one way. Now while I dont automatically think we'll be relegated, I don't see us spending any significant time outside the bottom 6 this season. Another record broken by this ownership yesterday, it's the first time we have lost our opening two home games at this level or lower since 1956.
