  1. Past hour
  2. Well, as I have said before, life in the Championship is when all is looking lost suddenly out of nowhere you pull out a great performance. And inversely you begin to get a bit of hope and it kicks you in the nuts. We've had a few of each already this season. Anyone who tries to predict anything (hello Merce!) is a hostage to total fortune. I'll watch tonight expecting the worst, but knowing there is a decent chance I will be surprised again. I guess that's the addiction of football. The championship is a particularly virulent concoction of the unpredictable.
  3. Think it was over £500,000 in the last twelve months. Still listed at Companies House as CEO.
  4. £400,000+, per year.
  5. I'm getting fed up with this now. The EFL have made the correct decision. You and others at Rovers might not like it given the circumstances, but that's how it is. It would be utterly ridiculous for them to let the result stand with probably 15 minutes+ left to play and even more ridiculous for them to have just played the last 10 minutes or so starting with Rovers being 1-0 up against 10 men. There is no precedent for it in English football history and for good reason - it wouldn't work and would open the floodgates to all sorts of shenanigans in future when there are issues with the weather, floodlights etc. If you are angry about it I suggest you spend less time worrying about the EFLs difficult but ultimately correct decision and more of your time working out whether Rovers have invested sufficiently in their facilities to ensure the pitch is in the best possible condition to ensure this sort of thing doesn't happen. I can safely say that Rovers could have done more, it isn't just the weather or the River Darwen, just as we had no issues with drainage getting games abandoned from 1992 - 2012.
  6. So from the above comment I take it you think the Club aren't at fault?
  7. Well only to the extent that a CEO is held responsible for anything that goes on at any Company. The owners must have agreed to those deals in the first place then they all fell through due to either different instances of negligence (if you believe that) or deliberate sabotage.
  8. The club has the issue. Elliott doesn't need to resolve anything that would undermine his journalistic integrity.
  9. Is there a reason why those failed transfers have been put specifically and solely onto him?
  10. The decision is not the point. I never said it was the right decision either. But we need to get over it now, its been and gone, weve played a game since where we got battered in. Doesnt need a mention.
  11. Maybe not quite to the same extent but that has echoes of Rooney at Plymouth allegedly skipping training sessions so he could fulfill media engagements with Colleen.
  12. Andy Cole says Hi. As do Nathan Brierley, Lewis O Brien, Duncan Mcguire, Uncle Tom Cobley and all.
  13. I’d certainly like to see that post
  14. I’m presuming that they are emailed to various “influencers” when issued & we wouldn’t necessarily know that… @glen9mullan is that correct ?
  15. As the subject of censorship is the hot topic of the moment are we ever going to get any sort of explanation as to how we ended up with various sets of minutes arising out of the last meeting or how the heavily censored and slightly embellished set seemingly came to be initially agreed with the Club?
  16. He was never the problem. From my dealings with him - I thought he was a decent bloke.
  17. Yet, they deny that any bullying is going on at the club.
  18. Imagine what Peter White would have done to this lot
  19. If we draw or lose tonight the LT should be all over this, especially with recent events considered. imagine the shame… a bloke daring to celebrate his 50th birthday and still bothering to put a training session on afterwards. Truly the darkest day in professional sport...
  20. I very much doubt that will happen but it would be great if it did.
  21. It's all getting a bit he said she said at this stage. Bit worrying that the LT keep saying they're willing to sit down and sort it out - we could end up with even more wearisome sycophantic coverage than we had previously. At this stage their stance should be completely unequivocal, in no way will they consider changing their staff round to suit the Club and their reporting will remain impartial, balanced and objective. If Pasha and Gestede think the extremely tame Jackson is bad, maybe the LT should put me, JH Rover and Wilesden on a rolling reporting rota. The Club would be begging for Elliott back within the week.
  22. i did a search and its just according to you 😄
  23. Those in Power at Ewood refuse point blank to listen to anyone den..our future in the hands of complete shysters and novices with huge Ego problems. A surefire recipe for utter disaster.
  24. Today
  25. The fact they are trying to lose a man his job and basically wreck his career - by squealing to other clubs - shows how the rumours of multiple players and club staff leaving because of toxic people in charge might well have a lot of truth to it. Doubt a lot of this would have been allowed to happen if the former CEO was still here and that's not defending him but i think he would've kept a lid on a lot of it.
