  1. Past hour
  2. Ah OK- that would make more sense. Strange thing to post.
  3. Come back to reality squire 😊
  4. I'd be really surprised if Brittain was still here by the end of the window. Bit of posturing going on at the moment re price but I think we know what'll happen, he'll go late on in the window and as likely as not we won't get a replacement.
  5. I took it as a wind up, not a chance did that happen.
  6. brilliant from Luke Littler and I hope he wins tomorrow night
  7. Easy yellow card for me.
  8. Post round one grind on the range, dialing things in and getting set for tomorrow! Gerald’s repping the current Blackburn Rovers jersey πŸ”΅βšͺ️ Tomorrow we’re bringing more birdies, more smiles, and the latest Rovers kit, which you can catch on Hole 17, the party hole! Let’s get loud, Rovers fans! ⚽πŸ”₯ #UpTheRovers #HV3 #LIVGolf #BlackburnRovers
  9. @London blue has summed it up well. You just add names and then say we have x number of players and dont judge on quality. You have always done it. In the past adding the likes of Markanday, Telalovic, Garrett and always a few random young players to bloat it out. If you genuinely believed in your list then surely we only need a right winger, why do we even need 3? You also say that every single manager is honest and straight talking. You can't fathom that any manager might not get what he wants. Its not even specific to Rovers, im sure very few managers end transfer windows 100% totally satisfied. Im employing some critical thinking. They said 6 or 7 before Weimann and Batth left. In fact, Gestede said right wing because "ACD is leaving and we only have Dolan in that position" so you can add him too. Also, the requirement for a centre back also is an additional one because Carter has got injured again. So in my opinion, if we only get 2 or 3 more, we have not signed enough players to build up the squad as big as what was initially planned. You cant fathom that. No way could that happen in your head, it must be going exactly as planned. My comments about not signing a striker were in reference to comments about Ismael deciding that Ohashi and Gueye will suffice up front. Gestede said that we did want some more competition there so IF we dont sign a striker, then it doesnt suggest alignment or something has changed. Maybe a striker is within the 2 or 3.
  10. Today
  11. Yes Brittain certainly played for us yesterday but I haven't seen any confirmation he flew back with the main party today that would negate the rumours flying around that he came back on an earlier flight. I think it's certain Brittain will leave and if he has a choice, I think it will be Derby over Middlesbrough.
  12. Brittain ain't going to Derby. He played for us yesterday, flew back with Rovers players and management. So stop with this BS Mercer it's boring and why I ignored your posts nowadays sadly
  13. That's not strictly true.the men's team went behind in all 3 knock out games and went on to win mostly in the dying minutes. Unless your talking about women's football in general
  14. Palulu looks a good player, similar style to the Beradji lad we were close to signing, though a different position. Like others have said, seems a level above us at least though he does only have a year left on so contract. Interesting read on his international career where he was called up by Angola but withdrew for health reasons, then switched alliance to DR Congo, got a call up and withdrew due to injury. Apparently cleared his insta account of all things Jagiellona suggesting a move is imminent or he's upset with them
  15. I don't think Rovers have spent any money this window. Sale of Schaper and JRC would bring in about Β£1.75m. Fees for Alebiosu, De Neve, McLaughlin and Tavares would be no more than Β£1.75m up front plus fairytale 'add ons' for when we win the PL etc With Brittain heading to rejoin Eustace's Rovers renunion party at Derby for Β£2.5/3m, we are quids in. If you believe the fantasy figures quoted for our signings then I'd look out in your garden tonight for the fairies!

  17. great game and so enjoyable. Littler 5 nil down already, can he come back, we see
  18. Well pay for the Sky Subscription then if watching live cricket means that much to you. BBC doesn't have the funds to pay for Cricket rights and the other channels aren't interested
  19. Just read that we are linked with Brereton again? Any truth in this or do I need to step out of the parallel universe I’ve just found myself in?
  20. One of your CMs is Foreshaw, the other we haven't seen play yet. Your sole RW is Ryan Hedges. One of your CAMs is a 17 tear old with a few minutes of senior football played. 2 others in your squad list are new signings with no experience of playing in the Championship. You're conflating footballers who play for Blackburn Rovers with viable squad options.
  21. I have done a squad plan for the messageboard and we have 2 players for every position apart from the right side attacking position. we have an extra centre midfielder. add 3 more players and we have 26/27 players, how many more do you want? how is going to problem with squad depth? No club has unlimited pot of money but we have spent money this window on 4 players. We don't know whether the striker has been shelved at all and you time after time suggested things with no evidence of this being the case in fact. Ismael said 6 or 7 signings at the end of season and that's what we are on course for. Maybe he knew that Batth and Weimann wasn't renewing here before he made that comment I mentioned Leonard cos I think he will be 3rd striker if we aren't to sign another striker wouldn't surprised myself. on Michalski, he is good prospect and he looked good against Stanley and Everton. So what is wrong with him being 3rd choice? Also who is going to be 3rd choice if not Michalski? Also I would have no problem starting Michalski if Toth and Pears were both injured. You say you aren't against bringing through young players but every time a young player is mentioned to be part of the first team squad, you always find an excuse to not bring them through, Ismael is a straight talking and look at how honest he was about the Brittain's situation. very honest about it.
  22. That was some game. Wade tired and looked like he was throwing it away, then just held it together at the end.
  23. That slight foul on players breaking away does my head in. Just enough of a foul to stop their progress but not too physical. Usually a shirt pull or a grab of the arm. It’s getting established in the game at all levels. As you say City are the worst culprits.
  24. And then they sold the rights to Sky and most of those new cricket fans were left out in the cold.
  25. Don't know what to say to that if true. That's atrocious - why would anyone be so spiteful as to do that? Did he think he was being funny or something?
  26. To be fair, they have justification. They are in a great place to push on armed with dodgy money and they repeatedly keep failing to get deals done. Obviously, their main issue should be with the disgusting things that their owners like to do.
