  1. Past hour
  2. Re the admin element of this. I’m not sure how they could Rovers into administration whilst simultaneously claiming the holding company is solvent. If the holding company was the one put into administration the administrators would also then be in control of Rovers + the company which owns the training ground. I doubt they’d decide the thing to do was to sell the two to separate people.
  3. Rotate de neve with Ribeiro he'll be hungry sat on the sidelines all this time
  4. They bringing 5k? We really need to take the roof off
  5. Ah ok. I'll bow to your superior knowledge. 🙂 Thought you'd always said previously they had their "investment" in the Club down at £220m. At £33.5m it's somewhat more attractive especially if Brockhall is included.
  6. Football related debtors are currently at £5.1 million. Potential add ons are £20 million. It could be a while yet… (let’s hope the add on criteria aren’t met!)
  7. The debt element is currently £134 million so the 25% is ‘only’ £33.5 million. Would someone pay that if it was all they had to pay?
  8. What would he offer at 5 a side? Its that point in the season where every team will keep picking up injuries. Ours are only amplified by having injury prone players in some cases, and because we are overreliant on too small a pool of players because the alternatives are so bad.
  9. First tronstad out for two weeks, now hedges. One comes and one goes. Can never catch a break can we.
  10. That says everything about the game management and weakness of the squad. To be fair a couple of times Ismael has gambled and tried to win games late on and that's something Eustace never did which drew the critics. It's obvious why he didn't though but by the same stretch Ismael seems prone to doing the same thing time and again and coming unstuck but not learning a thing from it. Bizarre but given his overall Championship record with at times stronger squads than this it really isn't surprising.
  11. Pickering is being left out for none footballing reasons surely?
  12. id`e play ribeiro/pickering on that side, they might not offer much going forward but they can defend, deneve would be brilliant in a 5 a side game no doubt, but he`s lost in a competetive match,he has`nt got the important bit of tracking back, marking or being able to tackle
  13. A real shame for Hedges as his performances have been very good. The change to wing back suits him. De Neve will start, I'm sure. I'm now 20% less confident of winning
  14. To Wednesday this is a free hit, day out for the fans and best chance of an away win all season given our record. No pressure on them whatsoever.
  15. Difficult to call. Yes, Owls almost certainly doomed to relegation, however, their hated owner has gone and there is a new found optimism - couple that with the backing of 5 thousands fans and this game is undoubtedly going to be difficult. If I had to make a call then it would be for another Rovers' home loss.
  16. Wouldn't surprise me, as you say they could just give it back for a quid or something but as it is someone is drawing a few hundred grand a year rent money it seems. Another odd situation in the money go round.
  17. Might as well hand them out like the national team ones at this point.
  18. Those making the decisions at Ewood are living in some sort of Parallel universe from the rest of us.
  19. Hedges is out for a couple of weeks which presumably will turn into over a month as tends to happen now. Under no circumstances should he bring in the useless De Neve.
  20. Why would it require talks if he has a pre agreed fee in his contract? Im not convinced by him. Very average and wouldnt be rushing to sign him permanently.
  21. Way back when I would stop and see my grandad on the way home from school as he wrote the draw down as it happened (live from Soho of course!) and he would give me the list to mull over as I walked back. Wonderful memories. I remember posting on here a few days before our fateful QF at Bramall Lane a couple of years ago that I was literally bouncing around with excitement. It may be old and weary these days but my god when it sparkles it is utter magic.
  22. Standard defeat at Wigan away (if they beat Barrow)
  23. I've been one of the biggest supporters of the current regime, they've taken English cricket to another level, a winning level and I've loved almost every minute of it. But the catching has been abysmal throughout this tenure, something you can practice till the cows come home, which I’m sure they do, but dropping that many catches could well have lost us this test and ashes. I'm sure the ball will come into question and under lights, but its not just this test. Not good enough Stokes/McCullum.
