  1. Past hour
  2. Both Warnock and Allardyce were excellent managers and were indeed head and shoulders above Rowett but Warnock is 77 and has retired twice, Allardyce hasn't had a job for 2 years and even though I'd be happy with either, Venkys/Gestede/Pasha absolutely would not employ either of them.
  3. Who the FUCK forcing out managers on the verge of playoff places in favour of this shit?
  4. People preferred to kid themselves they've finally spent the Hyam money and were just waiting for the right 'investment' to come available. Yeah well they're about to get another harsh reality check about how these lot operate, as if they didn't already really know.
  5. Thanks Tom hope that's the end of these rediculous dreams.
  6. What is VI’s actually preferred formation? I can’t remember, we went to three at the back because of Cantwell’s injury and our general injury issues? But now we’ve stuck rigidly to it ever since. I’m not saying our woeful results are purely a formation issue; I just don’t think he has a clear idea of how best to set the team up.
  7. They are also both past it and been to the well too many times now plus both would cost way more than these lot would ever pay.
  8. Be brilliant wouldn't it.. That's probably exactly what they need!
  9. He's a fully paid up member of team cunt with Gestede & Pasha, bloke won't get sacked when we get relegated. He's as bullet proof as anyone since Kean, the swamp needs draining.
  10. Whilst I do agree the problem ultimately lies higher up.. We have had the privilege of some pretty good managers: Mowbray, JDT, Eustace.. I'm sorry, but we'd absolutely not be in the state we're in now with any of those if they were being backed in the same manner... Ismael needs ejecting pronto- he is awful. HIs record is absolutely abysmal, roll the dice- bomb him out. Warnock, Allardyce, Bruce, Rowett.. I'd even take Mowbray back.
  11. Another three year deal for a proven failure that had never lasted long anywhere. They keep on finding em. Good work if you can get it / have the right agent.
  12. do you think shadow man would agree to Warnock's contract t&cs?
  13. very doubtful warnock would ever come here after getting passed over for owen coyle,he was set to be appointed but some clucking nutcase decided that coyle would be a better option
  14. Warnock is head and shoulders above Rowett. He's got a brilliant CV. Him and Allardyce are criminally underrated.
  15. The time for Warnock was February last year on a short term deal to secure play offs and get us promoted and retire. He'd have loved that and would have fit well with the pros we had at the club back then taking over from Eustace. Sadly the imbeciles running Rovers knew better and threw a three year deal at a failure who never lasts more than 40 games at a club. Now isn't the time for Warnock. Not with these players. They wouldn't cope with him and he wouldn't cope with them.
  16. Thing is, the results have been crap when he’s had the better players available so I have zero faith in him digging us out of this when they are back.
  17. Where can I get some I need a new hobby 😆
  18. Put into the pot , that injured players don't usually rush back into struggling teams ! The squad is dreadful if they were all fit !
  19. The usual people who report on transfer rumours. I guess the proof of the pudding will be in the eating won't it. If he continues to play like today but retains his place something would appear to be very much amiss. If he were dropped for the next game and never saw another minute I wouldnt shed a tear, Id rather see Pratt in the side, especially when he's done so well up to now.
  20. Gary Rowett till the end of the season
  21. Anyone know where AllRoverAsia gone, he used to be our regular contributor from downtown Bangkok ? I used to enjoy Arbitro’s post match reviews as thought he was the most genuine of supporters and called it plainly, good or bad. Might have just missed them recently but worried that even Arbitro has had his enthusiasm driven out of him. Hopefully, he will be back on with his thoughts on the Ipswich debacle later tonight or tomorrow as he is a great barometer as to how, even the most loyal, are feeling.
  22. Warnock came to mind. Brilliant manager. A real pragmatist that knows football and how to get the best out of people. I'd have him in a heart beat.
  23. I don't think sacking him will make any difference because of the idiots above him, but I still want him sacked on principle, no one should be rewarded for performing this badly.
