  1. Past hour
  2. What is the YouTube channel please Glen?
  3. With the exception of free transfers, every player that everyone signs is for an undisclosed fee
  4. Every Player we sign is for an undisclosed fee.
  5. I don't think the new independent regulator has been appointed yet so is that meeting a promise to meet when appointed or a meeting with a member of the Regulator's Office ?
  6. I would think its possibly more a historically smaller club mentality... Its expected that the better players will move on to something better Wait until all our fans are not old enough to remember pre Venky Rovers & our fans may be waving players off whilst wishing them the best too "Well it is the mighty Wrexham, they are a top half Premier League team and qualified for Europe don't you know. How can little National League Rovers compete with them?"
  7. Just a little update. The Trust are finalising the current boards roles for the next 12 months. These have been circulated to the other board members to give them an opportunity to identify which role sits best with their skillset. @oldjamfan1 has been on the ball as ever and secured a meeting with the new independent regulator, this is absolutely fantastic news and were hopeful this aids significantly addressing some of the issues we currently face. MOU - We've had no response from the club which is most disappointing, not even an acknowledgement. We'll discuss the next steps at our own internal board meeting later this month. We are going to be pushing our YouTube channel much more going forwards. With the lead in to the 150 celebrations we've some good ideas which we wish to take forwards, whilst we've secured an intriguing guest for our first interview which is penciled in for later this month. (Not to be missed). Growing credibility amongst local stakeholders, patrons and fellow supporters remains high on the agenda as we look to grow our visibility and membership. A trust is only as strong as its supporters, and we really need everyone's help to become the trust you would all like us to be.
  8. Funny how foreign fans seem to bear no animosity to players leaving their club, wishing them all the best. Yet over here they are regarded somehow as traitors for daring to leave for new challenges. Maybe it's just the British mentality.
  9. I buy 4 season tickets, mine plus 3 grandchildren. My son buys his own. How do the grandkids get in if I can't go? Should be ok if still able to use current season cards, but what about next season?
  10. In agreeing with lraC’s comment re no confidence votes. I took it he was referring to club forum members and not fan members. Sorry if I got that wrong
  11. ..And that is all you can do Glen, transparency and honesty is all we ask for from these meetings. If the Club dont like it then Tuff, the truth needs to be known.
  12. It is/has been a problem, I've been saying for a few weeks that things do seem different to the last few years, but it's the proof of the pudding and all that. Hopefully we see a change for the better.
  13. Wait until 2027, everyone bar our new signings are out of contract then. Some will have the kick the can down the road 12 months options though I suppose.
  14. Hedges should be more wider on the subs bench.
  15. Because they go hand in hand in terms of building a squad. Why cant we agree any new deals?
  16. At the moment though it is just one sale. But even if we sold them all, until we can start agreeing new contracts with at least some players then it undermines everything. Its a massive worry. Why do they all want to stay? I suggest we arent offering competitive wages and we also arent being proactive in actually offering them. You should, but why can we not agree new deals with any of our important players?
  17. We've had a glut of signings in midfield, but none to strengthen our flimsy strike force.
  18. I wish to cause no damage to any entity or fellow supporter. On that basis The Action Group will be issuing a statement today regarding the shenanigans , if other groups support or issue their own statement, that's of course their perogative. I can only act in the capacity I attended, which was as Chair of the AG, and the words we will issue will be for the benefit of transparency to our members,
  19. The problem lies clearly with the Club, they are censuring info (as I feared) and this should be acceptable to no one. What a mess. We look forward to your podcast Glen, the sooner the better.
  20. I genuinely dont believe the club has any intention of having any other narrative than the one they wish to portray. The consistent view of "only a handful with an agenda" have any concerns is the line they are giving the media and its in their interest that the minutes show them in a positive light. This is clearly the motive to not speaking to groups whilst also the motive why they continually ignore emails from groups notably WATR who have an MOU the club are now failing to honour
  21. Might be a bit much to ask the journo to write the minutes in the first instance, but could act as an independent arbitrator in dealing with the sort of dispute that has arisen here.
  22. You have written, very eloquently, exactly what I was about to post
  23. Yup a local journo recording the mins would make sense if it were possible to arrange.
  24. Think you are right leading to an almost inevitable opening day loss.
