  1. Past hour
  2. You're being tactful but why was one attendee (you) left out? And why isn't OSG putting us all straight? This reminds me of that Pune trip 14? years ago when The FF travelled to Pune as guests of Venkys and didn't ask the hard questions.
  3. Have I missed something- Cantwell is off now as well as; Travis, Trondstadt??
  4. Fuck me, that was a non sulking and motivated Cantwell last season? 😡
  5. Suppose we should be thankful as Glen said the players and staff are in good form with one and other a loss today (which tbf away to wba on normal circs is tough) will make for interesting viewing at home vs brady and co
  6. The process which i understand has always been process. 1. Secretary writes minutes 2. He then in consultation with chair makes edits. 3.They go club. 4. Approval is granted (dont know if this includes edits both ways between 3 parties). 5. The approval given with notification they'll be on website within 48 hours. 6. They are circulated to attendees. At no point do they get shared with attendees until full approval has been met Only logical reason I can come to for this is, given 20 plus attendees, it could take a long time if everyone had edits. That being said, they shouldn't go club before members have seen first and this needs to change
  7. WBA 0 - 3 Les Bleus Henriksson (3) πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ
  8. The Vine is a fantastic pub πŸ‘Œ Sadly not going today, was working out stupid prices via train and on holiday next week so watching the pennies, despite all the shite we put up with I'm still gutted not to be going though.
  9. Neither Leonard nor Cantwell strike me as being Ismael type players, i.e. big strong powerful athletes. I'd really like Leonard to make it, he has a lot of ability imo but he's 21 now and there's only so long you can give him before you say it's not going to work. I agree though, for financial reasons alone you'd have thought the Club would be eager to give him the chance to impress
  10. I meant he told Rangers he wanted to leave and that was that...not saying it is 100% the case and I already said the board would be happy to get his wages off the books but if he has asked to leave and is acting up like he did at both Norwich and Rangers then he would have to be moved on regardless of his ability...you don't want a sulking and not motivated Cantwell around the place
  11. Well done all, great numbers. Been a while since I went to The Hawthorns, but WBA fans were always a nice bunch. Seem to remember a good pub (think it was neutral rather than away) which did a lovely curry, tikka on a charcoal bbq and kebabs. Think it was called The Vine
  12. There television programs are 23rd in my best channels to watch league.
  13. And the window after that, with venkys court case delayed for the 5th time till November.
  14. Every so often, I see club X bids Β£YM for Rovers player Z, and for a split second, I think, that's a decent deal, we should take that, we could reinvest/buy/sign up W to a new contract....... but then my mind snaps back to our unfortunate reality
  15. Can I just clarify this, who was version 1 written by and do you know why it went to the club, before any of those attending saw it?
  16. Cheers Duncan, Glen et al. The time and effort put in to what must be an incredibly frustrating situation doesn’t go un-noticed by the majority here.
  17. Hedges would be on the bench at the Wham stadium, I've seen better.
  18. How come Ismaels put him on the bench against w.b.a, is it a game plan.
  19. Absolutely. I still chuckle/roll my eyes at "I would sell Travisnif we got x million". Why?
  20. Today I start my 60th season being a Rovers fan. Yes I’m an old fart but no less excited at what this one will bring. Not expecting too much as we are in a period of transition with some key players from last season missing and we just don’t know if their replacements are quite up to the challenges of the Championship. Hopefully we will still sign a wide man and striker before September to provide a bit more fire power up front but I’m not holding my breath. COYB
  21. Edit: Miller has beaten me to it and explained it. Sadly I think it's clear where the blame lies and frankly the Club aren't going to look a gift horse like that in the mouth if they can get away with it.
  22. I wrote what I did, as thats the way, I see it, but no problem at all being corrected on it, as just done so by Miller 11
  23. Ah, sorry, I misunderstood. In which case, I am not in favour of them leaving. In an ideal world, I would like to see Travis etc tied up to proper contracts reflecting their worth But given the current owners, that wont happen, so I would prefer to keep them, and have them leave on frees so Venkys lose more money
  24. We are going to have these problems so long as the FF is recognised by the Club as the sole organisation representative of the fanbase. I believe it isn't, I certainly hope it isn't and I believe the owners are running foul of the new laws by keeping up the pretence. Parson, you are as loyal a Rovers fan as exists, can't you see that what Glen and others are trying to do is to enable your club to survive forever? More to a fan than paying at the turnstile.
  25. Makes you wonder if we are willing to sacrifice academy players why would tyjon be willing to stick around if he's going to be flogged in a couple of years to the Highest bidder
