  1. Past hour
  2. Then with settling of contract differences about -£150k
  3. Valentin Joseph - big powerful 18 year old, striker with 11 goals in 17 games this season Absolute madness that he is not on the bench given our lack of options
  4. Literally seems to be for an individually numbered shirt and box. But as you say, it's difficult to justify the price point for those alone. It'll get even more embarrassing if/when the shirts are discounted. Wouldn't be surprised if they are 'prizes' in the Rovers Return draw or for people who buy a ST next season.
  5. Desperate for firepower and another who can dribble and make things happen. Imagine it will be dependant on sales first and then loans of people we have never heard of who turn out to be shit.
  6. Pears, Ribeiro, Tyjon and Gueye to be sold in January.
  7. Do we actually have any young strikers who are better than Axel Henriksson up top? And by ‘better,’ I literally just mean someone who can get into decent positions and at least take a shot at goal. I’m not even asking for someone who can score, which tells you how low the bar currently is 🤣
  8. My tip is that Ribeiro, Gueye and Pears gets sold in the window.
  9. Think Pears playing well has put him in the shop window 👍
  10. Because we need speed and badly we need a different option whether that player can play either wing back I’m not fussed but we are crying out for some pace don’t want Gibson but if a cb became available after other positions are filled then by all means we have plenty of midfielders? When tronstad is out of the team we are hopeless. Forshaw self explanatory too old and injured Tavares a big flop montgomery injured baradji only available now and Gardner Hickman is meh…we need better quality in there ideally a starting mf with tronstad priority of course is a number 9
  11. I would sell Pears in the window and bring Charles in. Sheffield need to sell players in the window.
  12. The team is knackered! We have two academy players doing amazingly well but are also playing three games in a week when they have never played senior football at this level. Even the likes of Cantwell and Tronstad are clearly not match fit and the sooner Jan 1st arrives and we can get two proper strikers in the better.
  13. I originally joked that Toth might be sold in January when Pears came in and performed well but now I’m actually starting to think it could happen. I wouldn’t be shocked if the club decided to cash in, with the usual spin about needing funds, the January market being inflated, Pears earning his place, and Toth needing regular minutes ahead of the World Cup (the last bit I added for a joke but could easily see it happening haha). Edit: Or the alternative is they sell Nick Michalski - another up and coming talent for next to nothing.
  14. No, best we will get is a couple of players no team wants , on the last day of the window. Cantwell, Tronstadt and Toth could all be sold, this window.
  15. There have been lots done in Morecambe, these have been done by Deco Publique who organise the Festival of Making and are based in the Making Rooms by the Museum. I‘m sure they’d have lots of information on the planning side of things
  16. If Ohashi was injured rather than Gudjohnsen, I would fancy Henriksson to do an adequate (if not spectacular) job if filling in as the pressing workmanlike striker, but together they offer very little goal threat
  17. Today
  18. Brilliant 👍🏻 would be nice to get the ball rolling on it
  19. Sorry, I think you just applied logic where there was none The summers recruitment was a shambles Not enough strikers or centre backs for a 3-5-2, no back up for either wing back, started the season with 4 players who they called wingers in Kargbo, De Neve, Morishita & Hedges. Miller was signed as a right back, the squad had 2 left backs in Pickering & Ribeiro De Neve - “His primary position is a winger – a number seven or 11. Morishita - A versatile attacking player, who can operate as a winger Miller - The 24-year-old right-back They have since stumbled onto a system that keeps things tight, but they struggle to create anything. Congrats for assessing the squad during the summer and seeing that a 3-5-2 suited more of our better players more so than a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 (faster than our coaching staff), but do not make the mistake that it was pre-planned
  20. So they are going to wear the 150th shirt (that will only be available to a select group of fans on the very last day of the 150th) not just long past the actual anniversary but in the 151st year. A fitting conclusion.
  21. To be fair to him, for once he has answered the question (obviously in his usual politician-esque round the houses way). Like me, he’s there because ‘it’s what you do’. I sit with my dad and the lads I’ve sat with for many a year, couple of pints (elsewhere) pre, settle in to a two thirds to three quarters empty ground to watch a crap display of football from a bunch of plodders that happen to be wearing blue and white, then trudge up Livesey Branch until the next time. There’s bugger all left in the ‘match day experience’ in and of itself that would attract anybody. If it was any other leisure event you’d have long given it up, they are lucky that a connection to a football club lead otherwise rational people to waste their time and money in a sad and depressing environment where there is no drive, at all, from the regime to do the very basics of custodians - i.e to have the club and ergo said lads in blue and white be the very best it can be.
  22. There are some games that are just a waste of everybody's time, last night was one of them. Everything was just so half arsed, the passing was diabolical, I've never seen such slow passing which meant everything started from a standing start. We needed Cantwell to carry us, he was very underwhelming. Baradji ran out of steam alarmingly after about 35 minutes which shows he started out of desperation for numbers. Ohashi and Hendrickson are a partnership that offer nothing together. Ohashi has a role as support for another striker and has proved competent at doing that, the other striker is definitely not Hendrickson. Litherland was willing, and full of effort and most certainly doesn’t look out of place. Fair play to the lad. We need to sign multiple players ready to go on Thursday, it isnt going to happen though is it!?
  23. More than likely you'll be wrong. We won't have a striker at all is my guess.
  24. Might not be the best decision maker but has bags of natural skill and always gives everything. I don't think he's got enough to make it at the very top but he'll have a very good career and any accolades he picks up will be well and truly earned.
