  1. Past hour
  2. Nobody said it was. Pears to Alfie Whiteman would be though.
  3. We're miles behind other sides in terms of recruitment, and as a result miles weaker than we were last season due to the players who have left. The 3 lads who have come in wouldn't get in any other championship first 11. But, it is completely where I expected us to be at this stage.
  4. Playing in a new strip to launch it at a friendly is contentious? I think it would be easier to write a list of things that don’t annoy a few of you. I just don’t get the problem.
  5. Yeah over 15-20 yards decently pacy... Anything other and he drops off.. hence the burstπŸ‘πŸΌ
  6. My goal is asehole, there were no computer lessons when I went to school, some of us had to work for Β£3 an hour, and couldn't afford further education.
  7. Which is why it will probably happen. Downgrade FC.
  8. You talk out your ase, the next prime minister.
  9. Perhaps. But not the one in question.
  10. Seems Toth will be number 1 and I would think Pears will be p1ssed-off and toddle off to another club. That would mean we would need a number 2 with fair experience and capability. Don't think this lad fits the bill - mid 20's and only 30ish senior appearances in 6 years and nearly all whilst on loan in Sweden.
  11. Plenty of players on that relegated team we would happily have at rovers
  12. Proven championship tricky winger with a burst of pace who gives 100% every game is available on a free, Tyrhys Dolan.. think we should look at getting him in, even if it's a trial! We're in need of wingers.
  13. Before stumbling into League 1 at which point their fans seemed delighted to let him move on.
  14. Based on his time with us, yes. But then he went to Luton and played his part in them getting to the premier league, so....
  15. It could be that he's deemed not ready or good enough for this level, but I wouldn't rule him out just yet. Carter and Wharton needed multiple loans each at his age to become ready for this level.
  16. My assumption with kit suppliers is that there is some kind of tiering system. Access to new, bespoke designs would mean a bigger outlay from the club. Otherwise you get basic template designs and get to stick something on the collar and claim it's a "nod" to something.
  17. If players similar to Amarii Bell are what we want, then seemingly we are building a team of crap.
  18. Today
  19. Many of the teams who have impressed me over the last 6/7 years and have gone on to reach the play offs have had strong, fit, fast players in the main so hopefully this is the plan. As you say, we have to wait and see on the new incomings. What is clear is that we have not really had this type of player enough in recent seasons. I suppose we had Amari'i Bell.
  20. Dolan was more than a squad player, Brittain was more than decent and Batth was far more than just height.
  21. I like his feed, at least it’s about transfers. Without it this thread would be just depressed rants (understandable) and inane conspiracy theories.
  22. With Carter and Wharton being injury prone, that's us at full strength. Are we not at least a little bit worried about this upcoming season as it stands?
