  1. Past hour
  2. They’re not big fans of the forum are they? Are they old members that have been banned or have they left in a huff?
  3. Calm down, I wasn't giving you shit. I was just asking if you still believed that, or if the info you're saying you heard has changed your mind on that.
  4. If it includes an extra year, it would essentially be a three and a half year deal, as I assume we are talking 2 years from the pending summer. Which is more palatable, though I'd still say it should be a three year with an option, which is a max 4 and a half year deal. The first part of the loan really doesn't count. He was injured for the majority of it, and not yet our player. Signing him now is more like how renewing a contract would work in terms of the deal length you'd offer, you wouldn't be thinking about their previous time of service, you go from the point of the new contract kicking in, which is now. And you wouldn't give a 2.5 year deal to a player with his profile unless your hand was forced. As I say, 3.5 including an option is more agreeable and no longer ridiculous, but not what I'd have done.
  5. "I think this window there will be a net trading surplus on player trading" - what do you think this means? It simply means we will sell players for more money than we spend on new signings! It DOES NOT mean we WILL NOT sign any new players! Are we clear now?
  6. Tbf - think that was an old story that was dug up for illustrative purposes and hopefully his wages will put paid to any move.
  7. Now you're saying we have a striker about to sign, have you changed your mind on all this from 8 hours ago?
  8. Why waste money on a bang average player like Gardner-hickman when we desperately need it for a striker
  9. How sad you are. Talk about splitting hairs! A deal is done when the contracts are signed. My initial post said "supposed to have been", my second post said "deal is now close" (ie close to completion, contracts signed etc). Is that so difficult to understand? Well I will not "peddle more absolute tripe" (as some on here think) as I simply do not need the aggravation.
  10. Go on I'll bite. If it comes true then personally I'll think there was some substance to it this time, but looking at other posts you'll still have doubters. So to allay that, care to throw any more meat on the bone? Nationality, initials, what league they're from, something like that?
  11. Damn they lost on penalties 😞 third place play off it is
  12. Wow I've never been on there before, it's THE Venkyclapper paradise, and look who is the chief conductor, BRFCS' own Chaddy 😂
  13. Their terrible decisions have put us in a relegation battle, it’s their fault. So because they put us in this position let’s keep funding the club to keep them here .. what an idea! not. It’s one game to get change we are dying for.. we don’t want we need them removing.. BRFC is dying.
  14. Sorry guys, all for debate etc all the threads look the same lately
  15. Today
  16. Hey mate thanks so much for posting. We're all in the same position just you managed to put it forward so eloquently and convey the way we all feel. I've found that BRFCS is a great relief from all of this as you can openly express how you feel about the situation and people understand what you're going through. It's also the one place where one can get a sense of what supporting Rovers used to be. Yes, I am fully aware that I have made BRFCS sound like a drug addiction supprt group.
  17. If the Shirt had been our famous Blue n White it would have probably sold out...thick as mince this lot!
  18. No - one seems to mind anyone else posting BS at this time of year. In fact we're frequently urged not to frighten them away!
  19. So your initial post says a new signing processed/unveiled at brockhall today then your update says a deal is close……..which is it a done deal as initially suggested or not?
  20. Yeah move posts over Id say. Any talk about boycotts detracts from some really powerful personal stories.
  21. Would people rather this thread was kept to the personal posts rather than debate over action & boycotting? I'm happy to move posts over to one of the other threads if general consensus is that this thread should primarily be for posts like Devon Rover's original thoughts rather than another thread talking about boycotts/action/inaction (as we basically have two threads for that already).
  22. He’ll only be correct through the fact everyone knows we want a forward and that sooner or later we’ll probably sign one (of questionable quality) so it’s a fairly obvious guess to make. And then he’ll dine out on it for years allowing him to peddle more absolute tripe
  23. Cadamarteri? Wasn't he linked last week?
