  2. What was the social media post that caused this tantrum, out of curiosity?
  3. “Blackburn Rovers can confirm that media access for the Lancashire Telegraph has been withdrawn with immediate effect. This decision has not been taken lightly. It follows a series of ongoing issues that the club considers inconsistent with the standards of professionalism, integrity and mutual respect expected in our relationship with media partners. In recent months, Blackburn Rovers made considerable efforts to strengthen ties with the Lancashire Telegraph and its designated Rovers reporter. These included exclusive access to training sessions, players and our Head Coach during the summer training camp in Spain, as well as a personal invitation to travel with the team on a private charter flight for the pre-season fixture against NEC Nijmegen in the Netherlands. While in Spain, senior club executives also met directly with representatives of the Lancashire Telegraph to discuss concerns, open dialogue and lay the foundations for improved cooperation ahead of the 2025-26 season. These steps were taken in good faith, with the clear expectation of fair, constructive coverage and a positive working relationship going forward. Regrettably, despite these efforts, the club has continued to encounter repeated issues with the newspaper’s conduct and reporting. This culminated in a recent social media post in which matters became personal – a line the club will not tolerate under any circumstances. Such actions directly undermine the assurances and commitments made during the meeting in Spain. Following further refusals from the Lancashire Telegraph to cooperate until an ‘amicable resolution’ could be reached on their terms, the club has been left with no alternative but to withdraw all media access with immediate effect. This suspension applies to all Blackburn Rovers fixtures, press conferences and club premises until further notice. Blackburn Rovers remains committed to engaging openly and respectfully with all sections of the media. However, we will always act firmly to protect the values of the club, its staff and our supporters.”

  5. Makes the decision to sell Hyam even worse now than 4 weeks ago
  6. Injured in training and will be out “a while” per V. Who ever could have seen this coming when we sold Hyam in the last hour of deadline day.
  7. Today
  8. They will probably offer 10% off the price of the rearranged match price. But they will make it an A class game.
  9. What happens to walk ups tickets after paying full price surely a discount is in order
  10. What a complete prat McKenna is. I've never liked him but I hope we stuff the Ipswich team and Manager when they eventually return
  11. Yep, ridiculous decision, and even more scandalous that 3 members of the panel were allowed to abstain. I hope we appeal on a point of principle, it might not make any difference to the actual outcome but the situation is completely untenable. As for any replay as Sir Alf said at the end of 90 mins in 1966 "You've beaten them once, just go out and do it again."
  12. the silly old ***** at efl towers have now made a rule that is destined to be abused a crucial match is going on and the home side are losing narrowly,it`s coming up to 70/80 minutes played option 1 the floodlights go off and the club electrician has disapeared option 2 there is a fire alarm option 3 club stooge fakes illness and collapses option 4 home fans decide they want to stop the game and start a pitch invasion option 5 the pitch sprinklers suddenly spring to life and unsurprisely can`t be switched off now the silly old duffers have made an example of us,they`ll have to do the same for everyone, football behind the scenes is devious,if a club facing relegtion or looking like getting promoted can manipulate the event, they will
  13. There you go trying to defend the indefensible again. Surely we should be judging our infrastructure against sides at a comparable level not bloody Fylde and Southport?
  14. Just arrived home to find 1950s Style Retro Shirt has arrived. Read quality was good and it really is outstanding! Perfect fit so really pleased. Cheers @Herbie6590
  15. Come on Rovers let's turn out for this one and stick it up em! COYB
  16. That's true of the top 4 divisions but there were two local games in the National league North abandoned, at AFC Fylde and Southport. Curiously on their websites, to date, Southport have said that their game will be replayed and there is no decision from Fylde yet as far as I can see. A replay for Fylde would be particularly harsh as they were 4-0 up although the game was abandoned when a pass across the penalty area stopped in the water and allowed a tap in.
  17. I believe they sent him to see a specialist as he felt something in training and they want to get to the bottom of it.
  18. What? The pressure has been piled back on - that's 3 points we've lost.
  19. Just got home from work, what a nice surprise! Excellent feel to it. I'm an XL and fits perfectly, nice and loose unlike the official shirts which stick to my gut 😆 Thanks for sorting @Herbie6590
  20. Carter’s starting to make Vince Grella look healthy in comparison. Shame for him and the club but his body clearly isn’t cut out for professional football.
  21. I’ll never forget that 3-2 game in 2004. Was over for my 30th. Had a real good time in the pub before the game and it was indeed a game to remember for all the wrong reasons. Heartwrenching when that 3-2 went in. Great away support on the day as well! So the day and time of reckoning has come at last! Please please please beat this lot 3-2 with the final goal in injury time. Make their keeper come up to score an equalizer then squash their hopes with a silky finish. COYB!
  22. Carter out again and proving how daft it was to let Hyam go without another body in
