  1. Past hour
  2. We can all get behind a sh1t side, devoid of talent, if we know the clubs pulling in the right direction Waggy76. The current happenings at Ewood are by design.
  3. I think a 15 minute no show and Red cards when we return to our seats. Impactful and visual
  4. I was just reading that Rochdale have just received a grant of £250,000 towards the pitch that they have renewed over the last couple of months. No chance of us being smart enough to do stuff like that.
  5. Just to hopefully add a bit of levity to this dreadful situation. I've been going on Ewood Park since 1978 (aged 7) with my dad, and my son joined us in 2008, (also aged 7) My dad is now aged 80. We discussed the pros and cons of a boycott at length yesterday. He listened intently to everything I said, asked a series of thoughtful questions, mulled it over for 20 minutes.... and then made a decision to check the weather forecast this morning!
  6. I just hope today is a great success,an important message is sent out that the fans have had enough and its the start of the end of Venkys reign of terror. Stick together.
  7. Rumours Louza hasn't travelled with Watford. If so that's a bonus, arguably the best midfielder in the league. 1-1.

  9. Waaay too much I’d say…I love JDT but…😆
  10. We have had exposure on Radio Lancs, TalkSport & the Daily Mail in the last 24 hours…I’d say that was a decent effort all round TBH. Raising the profile of our case needs “little & often” activities I think to build momentum.
  11. Would love a bit of a timeline of all the tweets from the last few days would be great for those that haven't been able to keep up
  12. Reminder that our last injury time winner in front of fans was November 2019.

  14. One of my first European games. Emerton was one of my favourites at the time, and I loved the reception they gave him.
  15. I am in warmer climes but I would be boycotting if in UK.. Find it a very difficult to watch these days ! This is my 57th season , this squad of players is the pits ! Never seen BRFC so devoid of talent !
  16. But you can tell with him how he is just from various interviews he's way out of his depth although the exact same can be said for the fella above him. The football industry and a lot within it isn't noted for high IQ levels anyway that's why grifters, chancers and dodgy people so easily get a foot through the door. Here though under this lot has always been a naive basket case that's never gone away because it comes from the very top.

  18. And I cashed out just before 😁👍
  19. No, I’d draw the curtains if they were paying in my back garden today pal.
  20. Still think we'll win today despite no rational reason, will be like a cup upset. Wouldn't surprise me if the club have given out hundreds of extra free tickets for this one as well. Whatever the result, the club and Venkyclappers will find a way to spin it against those who boycott, but take no notice. We all know that attendances in recent years have zero bearing on results at Ewood Park.
  21. 1 - 1 11,270 announced attendance 6,890 actually in there including Watfords lot.
  22. Are you going Gav?🤔 I have a Fence to Creosote in the Wind and Rain.
  23. Today
  24. I would say any other match is probably fair game but it won't work for the PNE game. I would probably follow a call to boycott it or walk out or whatever, but lots of fans will not, we can't even convince everyone to boycott a meaningless game against Watford, we've no chance of it succeeding in what is considered the most exciting game of the season. It will just cause more division. Also, there is no chance of PNE fans joining in a protest, like I said, they consider us a major rival. I couldn't be paid to join in a protest or boycott at B*rnley.
  25. We have got more points at Ewood this season after falling behind than we have after taking the lead. 6 points after falling behind 4 points after taking the lead. Not much in it, but still.
  26. Disagree- imo, today should be the start if we‘re serious. The action group should be talking to their trust and asking them join in. From what I’ve seen, it’s £38 for PNE in some parts of the Darwen End. Failing that, let them outnumber us on Sky. The cameras will pick up on the home ends being empty.
  27. For the Harry Potter nerds, a Severus Snape type role. And when we’re free of this ownership people will name their kids Steve for generations to come, in recognition of his extraordinary sacrifice, torpedoing his own coaching career for the good of BRFC. In reality, I suspect he’s actually the Peter Pettigrew role, betraying Allardyce (James Potter) in servitude of the Dark Lord (Jerome Anderson)… who coincidentally rose back to power roughly 13 years after his disappearance 😳😳😳😳
