Battling performance from the boys, lovely to see us finally stand up and be counted in a derby game. I don't usually comment on the ref, but he had a shocker and Preston should have seen at least one red tonight. Impressed with Morishita, and it's always good to have your main striker finding the back of the net - doesn't matter if they are 30 yard screamers or close-range finishes, they all count and will only increase AG's confidence. Great start to the weekend.

What a result. Some real stand out performances, but Pratt and Tronstad , immense for different reasons. Always nice to beat them in their cup final. Graft. Ismael deserves credit, 4 wins in 5.

A decent night - in pocket and Rovers' win! PNE are shite - frightening to think they would have gone second with a win. Just how poor and open is this league!? Reality is we are a bottom eight side. Some decent performances but a few concerns with a number of ours either not good enough for the Championship or physically not suited to it. As for Baradji - looked like he'd come on for a little knock about with his mates. So laid back. Big question mark there.

We seem to be at our best in an 5-3-2 formation... should had stick it against Derby and that would had been three points. They making the short trip will have a good night out.

He showed some great touches and some terrible ones but I actually thought him coming on stopped Preston's momentum and pushed them back on their heels considerably.

I find Morishita takes a while to get into a game, but when he gets in gear he's a class above...Him and Yuki don't stop.

Very lenient ref. Would have been a sending off there at the end in a Premier League game. Thoroughly deserved win, didn't expect it but we were far the better team. Must mention Hedges, a revelation lately. Team visibly tiring towards the end but Preston unable to take any advantage. Limp performance from them Given it was very physical towards the end I'd have given Guaye more minutes than that but clearly he's on the outer.

They should have been down to ten men. Whiteman's a dirty git. Tronstad celebrating goal with his fist to fans, Miller's blackout goal, Ismael expressing himself physically at the end all good to see. We looked good tonight!
