  1. Past hour
  2. "We dont know" who was at fault according to chaddy. Wonder if one of our fans ringing their ticket office and the subsequent tone of the reply will show who was at fault. Probably not.
  3. Big Joe Turner - The Chicken And The Hawk
  4. And that’s coming from a club in Administration.
  5. i don`t mind val,he`s doing an ok job considering the morons who run the club don`t want any success,i do think he`ll get fed up and leave at the end of the season though,a mutual termination or he`ll find another job,the rovers manager position is a chalice so poisoned it will kill your ambition stone dead
  6. I think you'd be struggling to name one thing that has stayed the same and hasnt actively got miles worse. Let alone improved.
  7. "Wedon'tgiveashit" FC. Formed 2010.
  8. any rumours on "significent investment" january😁
  9. Just spoke to Wednesday. They are incredulous that our ticket office is closed. Had loads of inquiries from Rovers fans
  10. Gudjohnsen and Dykes might play in similar areas but the main difference is the most important. Gudjohnsen seems to have a knack of scoring goals. Dykes certainly doesnt. I am not in a position to find and know enough about my own transfer suggestions. But I do know Lyndon Dykes enough to know that hes a bit of a donkey. I think Hardie as a suggestion has more merit to it. Mind you, its a pretty depressing thought that the 4th/5th/6th choice strikers at promoted teams are almost certainly unobtainable (certainly without wage contributions) to us, a side who finished 7th last season. We need 2 strikers. I cant say I have any confidence in us getting 2, in us getting anyone good or in us getting anyone in proactively.
  11. Say what you want about the manager but you can’t knock how he’s changed the mentality of the players. Every week we lose a key player, half the first team are missing, some look to be playing carrying injuries, some are being asked to play out of position etc. Yet every one is giving 100% for the shirt and they’re getting results we shouldn’t really be getting. Like yesterday, top goalscorer missing, best attacking threat away in Africa yet we go to the 2nd placed club in the league and arm wrestle a result. There’s no sign of players feeling sorry for themselves like we’ve seen from struggling Rovers teams in the past.
  12. Glad you enjoyed your day out and Season's Greetings Parson. Im afraid it's unlikely you'll be able to enjoy a Tronstad/Baradji partnership for very long as the Club seem unwilling to offer Tronstad a new contract, same as the players who left in summer.
  13. Agree with most that post, but if you mean Adam Armstrong, he would be well outside of our budget
  14. Their ticket office is open today (crazy I know!) 03700 201867, option 1.
  15. It’s rubbish. What a way to run a football club. Not.
  16. Ha Ha! Whoosh! 🤣 The kids movies are twenty years or so ago for me. Might be able to get back in to them in 2 or 3 years with the grand son's!
  17. Think he's on about £60k a week, so even if they have him away for free he'd have to accept a brutal pay cut to return here. Granted he might have had a wage reduction after relegation, but even so, well out of our price range!
  18. Doncaster's manager (& fans on their forum) gave fairly scathing reports of their loanees, with the exception of O'Riordan, who was singled out for praise I wonder just how outstanding/exceptional a defender has been, in a team who has won once since the beginning of September, but he will probably do an adequate job as cover for Miller
  19. Message Wednesday, explain the diabolical situation, and see if they would offer tickets on the day.
  20. You can still be a very good performer in a underperforming/poor team
  21. Hard to believe in this day and age isn’t it.
  22. With a match on the 29th. Pathetic, useless, typical
  23. We need somebody who’s more like Gudjohnsen than Dykes. Somebody who’s more of a poacher than a grafter. We’ve got Ohashi to do the spadework. It’s a shame Gudjohnsen has got injured, they were looking to have formed a good partnership. It’s not easy making signings when we’re down to our last magic bean. Oh to have the money we wasted on Gallagher and Brererton again. That’d buy you a good player at this level even now. I wonder what Southampton would want for Alan Armstrong ?
