  1. Past hour
  2. Wilder and Sheffield United showing why they finished third despite this squad. They should have put Sunderland away by now - they've come out in the second half on cruise control waiting for the final whistle.
  3. and the sad thing is they will be a dreadful Premier team and still head and shoulders above championship level
  4. Yeah he's got his timeline a bit off there, Waggot came in after Mowbray. Very convenient but they were adamant Mowbray had nothing to do with his appointment, I never did believe it.
  5. They're the best team we played this season. Realistically they bottled the league - they should have won the whole thing with the squad they have, it's absurdly strong for this division.
  6. As much as I don't really want Sheff Utd to go up, cant really begrudge them that goal, a superb counter attack and lovely finish by Campbell. £10m Tom Cannon on the bench as well, along with Diaz. Mental they still have them to call upon if needed.
  7. Was it really Waggot that brought in Mowbray? Thought Waggot arrived after Mowbray was already in place (seem to remember misgivings about Tony deciding his own boss)
  8. sheff utd well worth their lead, sunderland look a bit short on ideas
  9. Same as how they don't have VAR in the FA Cup until the QFs - moronic. All-in or all-out.
  10. Well it got the second goal ruled out, maybe correctly but after the referee watched it back countless times, it’s just the inconsistency that’s annoying
  11. Lets just hope VAR don't have to make a decision.
  12. How can you have VAR in the Play Offs when you don’t for the full season, this is still a championship game
  13. Tuchel only has a chance of winning anything because of Southgate, he overhauled the whole system, it's a completely different proposition. Players were sending in a sicknote from their mum to get out of turning up before Southgate started, now they're champing at the bit to get in the squad. Tuchel has to reach the final or it's failure, semis at the absolute least. That is the standard Tuchel has inherited from the wet lettuce.
  14. Today
  15. I know. I think the coverage is different too.
  16. Are you watching venkys. Sickening.
  17. Yeah and he looked it when falling backwards into the net. Should have been dropped after '86, people can say what they want about the hand of god but that was awful goalkeeping.
  18. That's an incredible save by Patterson.
  19. The commentary on sky is always different to the commentary on Rovers TV. We have our own in-house duo for commentary.
  20. Sadly, 9/10 you do. Id like Sunderland to go up because Chris Wilder is an arsehole.
  21. Sheff Utd definitely the favourites, but its a one off game
  22. I'd be amazed if they lay a glove on Sheffield United.
  23. Hope Sunderland go up this afternoon, if only to show selling your best player and investing a portion of the profit on a couple of decent signings can actually achieve you success. You don’t need parachute riches.
  24. Weirdly though unproven are a better gamble than proven to be crap
  25. There is only a trajectory of decline in any business when the primary objective is cost cutting. You can get lucky for a while, but in the end it will fail. I guess the intention is to keep unearthing cheap gems, but even if we manage to achieve that we would probably not tie down their contract due to penny pinching. They can rebrand their so called model as many times as they like, but the true model is to save money and it’s an utterly depressing state of affairs with a downward trajectory.
