I think on the topic of tall athletic players, it has something to do with the energy and press but also to win the ball more across the pitch and defend set pieces. Maybe even be a threat ourselves. I like Baradji as a signing. Injury is a concern but the deal makes sense. I wouldnt turn on Travis, he's been a great servant and someone I've enjoyed watching and its hard to see him go but sometimes you need to try something different to realise the path to move forward. Baradji and Tavares both seem more mobile and athletic to not only put the tackles in and keep things tight but to also get us up the pitch. Travis and Tronstad have often been a wall and a great pairing but it does then limit us going forwards.
