From what league would you expect teams to be willing to bid for him? If its League 1, then they wont offer that sort of money. And I cant see Championship clubs being willing to pay that much for players either.

I don't even know what to say to this other than think again because it's fantasy stuff. Players are only worth what someone will pay and you might get a million for the pair but i'd suggest they'd need to follow Markandays path and be loaned lower league, hopefully do well and someone would chuck a few hundred grand down to keep them. If they were put up for sale tomorrow nobody would be bidding.
