  1. Past hour
  2. Tony says I will come back if you give me a 5 year contract
  3. I imagine Alebiosu will be sold to raise funds to punt Val out.
  4. Absolutely spot on Wendal, the rubbish written on here about the man was pathetic. I want him nowhere near this club, he did a fine job under these rat owners, we should remember him for that.
  5. Is there an official "Fans player of the season" run by the club at the end of the season? If so, and Alebiosu is sold, we should all go to great lengths to ensure he wins that award to embarrass the club. Saying that, I'm not sure there is actually anything that us supporters can do that would embarrass the club more than the idiots that run it and I doubt they would even care! They'd probably spin it to say, "Look, even the fans know he was too good for little old Blackburn Rovers, we had no choice but to cash in just to keep the lights on".
  6. So now we're selling the only decent signing we made in the summer, whilst in the midst of a relegation battle? What the actual fuck goes through their fucking minds?
  7. Really need an ITK to update on what the hell is happening today…
  8. Tony Mowbray? I know VI is crap but that's desperate.
  9. I can imagine the effort being put in right now by Gestede and the rest of the cunts to maximise the profit on the Alebiosu sale. More drive and fervour when selling players than in any other situations.
  10. Hey Dapo, can you recommend us a RB we want to flog ours
  11. Although it went stale at the end there’s no doubt that Mowbray rebuilt this club when it was on its knees. He was unlucky to be relegated and canny in getting us straight back up Players like Raya, S Wharton, Lenihan, Travis, Nyambe - came through on his watch, he bought in and developed players like Dack, Armstrong and Dolan + got in some shrewd loans like Elliott, Reed, Tosin etc By all accounts he was also responsible for getting our academy back on track with the right structures in place which has since been picked apart. He left us with a top 10 championship squad, laid strong foundations for JDT/Eustace and was relatively successful in uniting the club and fans. Too many people forget what he inherited post Coyle, Senior etc.
  12. This is a very valid point. The lack of chances created is horrendous. Gudjohnsen we know can put chances away, but he is a poacher, a Jordan Rhodes type forward. If you're not creating chances then it doesn't matter who is playing up front. Equally, Gudjohnsen has had his good goalscoring run when playing alongside another forward, so having him as a lone striker is not ideal. The players brought in have created more problems than solutions in that there is no clearly correct system to play.
  13. Mowbray isn't a fixer or in my opinion a motivator. Having said that, our record over the last 15 games would be markedly better had he been in charge. It would be too little, far too late. If someone is going to come in and work with this bunch of losers they're going to need to shove a rocket so far up their arses they'll be belching smoke.
  14. No transfer window, a crap injury prone squad. I'd sit this one out TM don't let it hurt your rep.
  15. I completely agree on that last line. The problem is that any manager or head coach who has that ability will simply get fed up of the lack of ambition, as we have found out in recent years.
  16. Still think we have to get a game delayed or abandoned somehow.. not sure how and long odds but the club managed to do it themselves ,,🤔... enough people and blocked roads etc ?
  17. Hell no to Mowbray. Selve serving man when he was here. Just filling up his coffers. People say till the end of the season but he'll wangle his way into a 3 year deal then play down any positives. We'll be back to mid table bottom half survival. We need a manager who can get the best out of an average bunch whilst punching above our weight. This league proves if u have a good manager and decent players, anything is possible
  18. Although not a Foward .. what about the young lad at Sunderland Rigg on loan - not getting any airtime in the Prem?
  19. The same guy who couldn't keep us up last time we were in this position..... and with a better squad. Makes sense!
  20. Today
  21. That's another massive potential loss of income in league 1 as not many will be pitching up with thousands of fans and dozens of coaches to fleece.
  22. I personally really admire TM and even though it went stale towards the end and he should have gone sooner, I'll always be grateful for how he got us straight out of L1, that feat should never be underestimated. For those saying he took us down in the first place, I honestly believe if he had come in a fortnight earlier he would have kept us up. When he came in, we only lost 3 of our last 15 matches and we went down with a very high points total. He did a very good job, he didn't 'take us down' Having said all that, I'm not sure it's the answer this time. The squad is worse, the atmosphere is even more toxic and the boardroom is even weaker and more naive than it was back then. I would 100% get behind him and sing his name but I think it might be too much for him after the few years he has had.
  23. Too much has been made of this travelling thing. Its been taken out of context as if he was managing here against his will. Also, every manager is managing for financial reasons. They all get paid. He actually does seem particularly obsessed with football. We shouldnt get him back, he has had his day and has had a serious illness. He would be a big upgrade on Ismael but he shouldnt be who we turned to. I think I would like it a bit just to see those with a really irrational and weird long lasting hatred of him reacting to it. But its not happening anyway. Ismael is safe.
