  1. Past hour
  2. A few in the Blackburn End were being pricks and a bottle came onto the pitch which he launched back, he’d been giving it Billy big bollocks all game. Just seems a real prick in general though to me
  3. That makes a lot more sense yes! Defo see a goal or assist in his future today
  4. Recall him having a do at Blackburn End in his Shrewsbury day. Like you say he's a prick.
  5. Wasn't he pointing out the head injury? Anyway, for me any rivalry with Palace is so long ago that a large majority of fans for both teams will have no idea about it. I'll take any club beating one of the the Sky 6 (obvious exceptions aside), especially one with a Rover in the starting 11. So far so good but there's a long way to go.
  6. There’s an expected bias on here, Wharton has been fine enough but lost it a few times in dangerous positions; the way Palace play that’s likely to happen though and in reality it was the perfect club for him to go to As I speak he could have grabbed his first goal, half chance into his mates face and he asks the ref for a penalty - got to love the optimism
  7. We're a shell of a football club. It's incredible we've been there or there abouts for the Playoffs the last three seasons (fell apart last year in December obviously) as we basically do absolutely everything wrong off the pitch.
  8. You keep missing the point islander, we all know the big clubs weren’t interested (even though we knew he was a phenomenal talent), because in reality he hadn’t really done much in the grand scheme of things. So you don’t sell until he had done much more and you *do* get the bidding war (but obviously the regime just wanted quick cash and didn’t give a fuck about that).
  9. I thought Ayari looked like a very good player and I was disappointed he didn't play more under JDT. Remember when Ki-Jana Hoever (an athletic RB) absolutely roasted Dolan for two goals in a game against Stoke? That'll happen to ACD every week if he plays in the PL. The game at the top level has become one of athleticism and systems. I just don't see where ACD fits in and thrives with his lack of athleticism.
  10. It would have been paid over his contract, Liverpool City Arsenal Spurs etc etc etc could have put 4 or 5 million on that seasons books without any issue
  11. replace with should
  12. If its either or, then no deal. His value was only going one way. Our desperation led to a crap deal.
  13. He is a prick to be fair. He was when he played against us for both Shrewsbury and Sheffield United. I doubt his opinion is based on where he is in the England pecking order. Wharton has been a bit sloppy at times on the ball. Munoz has been excellent down the right.
  14. The biggest problem with Wharton is that he needs quality around him to show how good he actually is. It was obvious within weeks of his move to the Premier League how much he benefitted from having talented players around him in midfield and good movement in front of him to pass to. As others have said we were eager sellers and Palace knew that. Bournemouth are a self sustaining club with no money worries and could afford to say no. Unfortunately you cannot compare the two clubs, what a shitty thing to have to admit.
  15. Why? I think he's pushing pickford to be England's number 1
  16. adam is having a fine game, palace defending gallently and always have an outball with mateta
  17. Why would you do that? 😭
  18. I’m talking ‘raw’ I.e a first team place at an elite club, Palace obviously thought different…
  19. Ewww Dean Henderson shaping up to be the hero now, still hate that guy He could have been sent off as well
  20. The 'big' clubs pushing for Europe sail close to the wind (with regards to FFP) - they often don't have £18m sat in their transfer kitty ready to splurge in January.
  21. Depends what you mean by 'raw'. Was he the finished article? No. Could he have walked into a dozen PL sides and started from day one? Yes.
  22. Who are even in the big 6 anymore?
  23. Today
  24. considering mgp was a fine header of a ball,im`e still wondering how he missed, must have been fate😫
  25. January or not if the big 6 thought they could get a good deal on a player then they would have been in for him.If they where really rating Wharton and thought 18 million was a bargain they would not have cared it was January. I don't think Wharton was having a very good season ,moments of pure class and quality but in the main certainly December onwards our midfield was being over run and we were conceding a lot and losing I think we would have got a few million more if sold in the summer with other clubs joining the race it wouldnt have been big 6 in for him nor would we have received bids of £30 million like some people here believe
  26. Same, I just want Adam Wharton to do well in his career. Just feels different him coming through the ranks than it normally does. Also, how the fuck have we not been to the new Wembley, so frustrating.
