That theory left Ewood a long time ago.

Tyjon is not ready for championship football, he is one for the future, whether that is at the Rovers or elsewhere time will tell.

Rovers not signing being able to convince Denis Undav to join us in January or even having a Plan B option meant we didn't get the playoff place or even better in JDT's first season. Understand think JDT learnt alot about English football but more importantly Rovers -

The time for JDT has been and gone. When he was here we had the foundation of a strong Championship squad and on top of that invested sensibly and effectively in people like Szmodics, Brittain and Hyam. The combination of Mowbray's left over squad, those good signings, JDT's impact / ambition and the Adam Wharton emergence - the stars aligned at the right time and we could have done it. Some prefer to convince themselves that we will never get promoted or close to it because of crowds, money, excuses but even under these wretched owners we ended up in a position to take that step under JDT. Engaged owners with some ambition would have backed him 'heavily' in his first January - instead they borrowed Sorba Thomas from Huddersfield. Nowadays it wouldn't work as well - they've gutted the squad of the quality it once had and are ensuring the prospects even of repeating signings like Szmodics and Brittain are remote. I think JDT struggled at times here because he was just on a totally different wavelength footballing wise to most of the players who had enjoyed the happy camp under Mowbray for years. Nowadays that would be even more extreme - I doubt any of them are capable of performing in the way he wants. -

One for Jan, William Osula Newcastle would be a really excellent loan deal. -

This has pretty much been his tenure in a nutshell. To be fair, he was given a brief to play attacking football after the usual Swedish approach of hard teamwork and defense had grown very stale, and we've produced a lot of attacking talent in the last few years while there's been a dearth of defenders and defensive midfielders. Still, the result of JDT's tactics have been that those not very good defenders have been badly exposed without the support of the players who are roving forward. -

Was 3-1 Burnley at HT. Walker didn't play for them and Cantwell didn't play for us - that's all I've got. -
I do not think that it is the sales that people get upset about, its that with proper contract management, most sales are either completely avoidable, or we would be able to ask for much higher fees, which could then (in theory at least) lead to us having more to invest on improving the squad. The frustration comes from trying to save a few pennies in the here and now by not attempting to renew contracts until the last minute, or offering derisory wages (when compared to our rivals)
-
Fair enough. I just find it annoying when, of everything there is to be angry about, people are upset at the prospect of a player being sold, especially someone we've brought in from an obscure league mainly to make a profit on him in the future!

Igor Tyjon made an instant impact off the bench as England Under-18s battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with France’s Under-18 Apologies for the shouty bold text, I just copied and pasted from the story on Rovers site

150th Anniversary kit/celebrations
Crimpshrine replied to Proudtobeblue&white's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Times have changed. There were so many great suggestions put to the club which they could have followed up to make sure that there were some actual celebrations in addition to simply labelling a league match as 'The anniversary game'. You may have been involved in the 150th committee yourself ? WATR started making suggestions over 2 years ago. Relations between the club and the fans is at an all time low. The 150th anniversary presented an opportunity for the club to rebuild some bridges and show some interest in the fans and the community. The obvious disrespect that they continue to show for the fans is epitomised by the indifference with which they have approached our 150th year. -
Blackburn Rovers Women
TheKitGuy replied to Proudtobeblue&white's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I am trying to raise issues and hopefully get a few things sorted. A real shame, Women's players on this years edition of Fifa (EAFC26) are highly sought after on the online modes of the game. a promotion to the WSL would've Absolutely skyrocketed the reputation of the women's side. To say we shot ourselves in the foot is a real understatement, it is the exact same scenario as when the men's side got relegated. 1 more season in the prem and we would've had the new TV deal to contend with enhancing budgets across the board... hindsight is wonderful!
