  1. Past hour
  2. Oh change the record you persistent moaner. Somebody has gone to the effort to explain to you how Twitter works and you're still banging on about "but the name, but the name!". At every turn, you can't resist making it out as though the club has done something classless when there is absolutely nothing in it. I thought it was a great video, and I wish Bucko... Sorry, I mean John... all the best. Do yourself and the rest of us a favour and give up following Rovers if it makes you so miserable and cynical.
  3. You don't have to try too hard at this club.
  4. Eustace never did. he never fitted Eustace and Ismael style of play. JDT, I think he had a spell when he was playing well under him
  5. Then you get people coming on here moaning about people moaning for no apparent reason. Obviously, it's by no means the most important thing you could complain about but to me it's just symptomatic of the lack of class running throughout the Club. They just can't seem to strike the right note with anything.
  6. So you have narrowed it down to a win, draw, or loss.
  7. Who are worse off us or Sheffield Wednesday genuine question- similar situation
  8. lol πŸ™‚ Lets just call it Buckleys personalised unique twitter/X username. its necessary for Rovers to write that to include him in the post, ina similar way that I couldn't email you without using your email & couldn't just use "Rev"
  9. Good luck to John Buckley. His new clubs average attendance last season was less than 3000 with a season low of less than 700!!! It's going to be a weird experience for Buckley for sure.
  10. Tagging him will increase visibility and allow more of his followers etc to see it, so it's a good thing as much as it may get on your tits....
  11. I've no idea what you just said there. 🀣 "Tag him" is he wearing an ankle bracelet or something? Why can't they just call him "John"? Sorry for being a saddo old person who doesn't use Twitter or X or whatever its called now.
  12. Real shame about Bucko, he actually sounds devastated in that interview (which surprises me as always felt his major fault was a lack of commitment to applying himself and making something of his clear talent).
  13. The current BBC text coverage of Kairat V Celtic in the Champions League preliminary is a master piece of extremely inconvenienced and bored reporting from Almaty on the near 200 minutes of really bad 0-0 "football". When it goes to penalties, sounds like they will need to take 20 each before anyone hits it towards goal...
  14. William Bell And Judy Clay - Private Number
  15. Seen a rovers fan on X say β€œfuck derby UTC” I mean genuinely bizarre how you’d rather Burnley win than derby, sums some fans
  16. Happy to see the back of Buckley, don't have the venom for him that I did a few years ago when he was putting in terrible performances but he wasn't good enough even when we were poor of options and had multiple managers who didn't fancy him. Very lucky after we offered him such a long deal. Best for all concerned.
  17. Jordan Henderson He moved to Ajax first instead of directly back to England because of tax reasons Senior career* Years Team Apps (Gls) 2008–2011 Sunderland 71 (4) 2009 β†’ Coventry City (loan) 10 (1) 2011–2023 Liverpool 360 (29) 2023–2024 Al-Ettifaq 17 (0) 2024–2025 Ajax 37 (1) 2025– Brentford 2 (0)
  18. And the resale value. It'll be stat driven they'll feed an AI tool a player and then ask it what he will be worth after 50/100 English Championship appearances etc. That's what will be getting Suhail and the V's excited.
  19. There was a period of the game when Newcastle players just seemed to collectively lose their heads. Gordon's tackle was definitely a red. Thought Slot's post-game comments were a bit disingenuous, suggesting Newcastle were hoofing & fouling their way through the game. Other than a small period where they did seem to lose a bit of control, I don't think that was a fair reflection of the game at all. I can only assume he was deflecting from another questionable performance from his team. It could be the old "good team winning games whilst playing badly" trope, or it could be warning signs that there are things that need to be addressed in that team.
  20. I don’t think he will…I remember one player who moved to Saudi regretted the move and wanted to come back. But due to tax reasons they had to stay in Saudi for at least two years or they would lose a load of their money. I can’t remember off the top of my head who the player was? They mentioned it on a podcast/interview after coming back to England.
  21. They have to use that to tag him, its the twitter username that Buckley chose, all of which start with an @ symbol
  22. Anybody would want to change their job if you can triple or quad your income. That is a no-brainer. I would have moved anywhere for that kind of money.
  23. Was mooted a while ago on another thread. What would 'working' mean? Play offs? Mid table survival? Promotion πŸ™‚ Prolong the zombie state would be my assessment.
  24. I assume so, under a good coach he will play against top players and on a very good wage.. out of favour here so you can’t blame him.
  25. Buckley is such a weird one, looks to be a decent player, with an eye for a pass but looks and plays like he couldn’t give a shit 🀣 JDT, Eustace and Val haven’t fancied him so it’s probably best for all parties that he moves on. Will be paid a shit load in Saudi and the level and tempo of football over there will suit him.
