Bolton have introduced some sort of flexi ticket despite selling probably double what we have. Seen a few of their fans saying it's a bit pointless because ST's in certain sections are cheap enough to buy then not bother if you miss half the games. Used to be like that here.

Yes, I’m aware what a flexi ticket is, was merely listing different ticket options released during a season. We won’t be seeing a flexi ticket to pick and choose games (I.e the option to now drop the inconvenient ones like a stone) offered in the summer next to a full ST, it’s as simple as that.

Having said the above 😁😁 23 people (15 fans, 8 club representatives) attended the last meeting for which the minutes have been published. I think this number is too high, if nothing else it makes agreeing on the minutes nigh on impossible. I guess the counter to this is that if only (say) 4 people attended for each side, the ‘closed shop’ argument would gain more traction.

In an ideal world perhaps, but I don’t think anyone in the Championship got 20 league goals last season. It’s quite rare in fact. We’ve been a bit spoiled with the goal returns on the last few years of AA and BBD. Most clubs in the Championship never have a 20 goal striker.

The ticket website they use said the kick off is 13.00 when I went to book tickets last night. I emailed Curzon Ashton and the have confirmed it's definitely 15.00 kick off.

I think Leonard showed a lot of promise under JDT, but he needs games in L1 to build his confidence. I think his movement is really good, similar to Ohashi in the way he finds space. He just needs a bit of luck with injuries.

I think two strikers. Leonard has to go on loan, he can't have another season here being 3rd choice at his age. I dont think we'll sign another striker though, I think Kargbo will be used there if the other two are unavailable as he played there a lot for his last club, and there's Tyjon who could be used but seems better in the "10".

I saw that Chorley were concerned about low season ticket sales and canvassed supporters who were on their ticketing database. This is why they said they listened. I doubt very much that Rovers have even considered other initiatives ie discounted family tickets. The driver should be around 14000 empty seats.

On the striker issue; I think VI said that we need more players chipping in with goals. So far in preseason we got goals from Gueye, De Neve, Ohashi x 2, Cantwell, Tyjon and AK. I don’t think we will sign a new striker or are on the look out for one. However no playing time for Leonard. A couple of injuries and we would be in big trouble.

Won't is a long time, and bundles and half season tickets aren't flexing tickets. Like Chorley have acknowledged, with football as it is, it looks inevitable to happen. We'll no doubt have another tester later this season.

Until you have a striker hitting 20+ a season, you're always on the look out for a better striker.

If we only play 1 up front and have 3 strikers. I don’t see the need for another. I doubt the 3 strikers see the need for another either. You can’t just keep accumulating players. Unless of course Val doesn’t think the 3 strikers are good enough. In which case you’d imagine we’re on the lookout for another one.

2 more games in and plenty of time spent with the lads in Spain, VI should be reporting back on Monday saying which players/positions he needs. You'd like to think the recruitment team have been busy and will have a few options lined up. Yesterday (again) highlighted how poor Hedges is, a replacement for him is an absolute must. I've no issue with him being a squad player because he does offer good defensive support, if VI is sticking to his 60 mins subs then if we're 2 nil up in a game, no issue really Hedges coming on. So he does serve a purpose but again, defensive qualities shouldn't be his MAIN attributes.....

Yep. Everyone else bar our new signings, Atcheson and O'Riordan are out of contract 2027. I think Montgomery and Leonard would need registering this year so I count 22 players who are 21 and over there, so barring no departures enough for 3 more players.

Yeah, assuming no exits, a CB, RW and an attacking midfielder (Baradji) would do it. Im keen to give Yuki and Big Mak a chance up top. Any exits will be covered by loans is my guess.
