  1. Past hour
  2. No Ribeiro, which makes you wonder about his cryptic social media post last week meaning he is off maybe?
  3. If you told me this opposition line up was AI generated I’d believe you, honestly don’t recognise a single name
  4. Powell not included either, but De Neve on the bench
  5. That's our best line up and bench for weeks. Watford's best player not in the squad. Think we win this one today after seeing the team news.
  6. Nice to see players coming back, but I don’t get it. Zero wide players? Miller and Morishita as wing backs, or Cashin as left back in a 4-2-2-2?
  7. Much needed experience in the side now at least, bench looks better
  8. No matter what the formation, it looks a mess, lots of square pegs in round holes
  9. Could be this...? Toth Miller O'Riordan McLoughlin Cashin Tronstad Forshaw Jorgensen Cantwell Morishita Ohashi
  10. Cashin starting and Pratt not even on the bench? This isn’t on merit
  11. Just going to say looks like 4 4 2
  12. Morashita full back then? Wonder if Ohashi is up front or Jorgensen. If Ohashi, wonder how he links up with Morashita
  13. Is that a terribly narrow 4-4-2? Toth Miller O'Riordan McLoughlin Cashin Morishita Tronstad Forshaw Cantwell Jorgensen Ohashi or Toth Miller O'Riordan McLoughlin Cashin Morishita Tronstad Forshaw Cantwell Jorgensen Ohashi I don't like the look of either of those
  14. Started for them as a right wing back/full back, but was unsuited to the role so they moved him further forward, played most of his football for them as an attacking midfielder, mainly central, but occasionally coming off the flanks
  15. I think he played FB for them for a bit before being moved forward - but there's a big difference between playing FB and WB. Ignore Ribeiro and Pickering for a moment, just look at TGH. He's a CM who isn't athletic enough to play WB at this level, it's a hugely demanding role.
  16. hopefully when the chicken slaughterers **** off we`ll get back to how it used to be,having a go at promotion, big cup ties in a packed ewood and players who were actually scouted and not bought from agents phone calls
  17. Fair play to anyone actively staying away today. It is time that the fans showed some cojones in light of the appalling anti-strategy that has been foisted on the club by the shadow man and his super-light-sidekick / glove puppet (and yes, I believe it entirely possible that Pasha has his hand firmly up that lad's backside working his mealy mouth. Despite it being a boycott game, I suspect most of us will still have a glance at the score and this forum as the afternoon unfolds. It is well beyond any reasonable time for some of the better 'injured' players to be coming back into contention, so with any luck there might be a bit more steel and resolve about our utterly plan-free game plan. That said, if I see TGH holding his hands out in supplication one more time following yet another baffling attempt to put the ball anywhere his team mates aren't, I may well feck the laptop out of the nearest window. Here is to a miraculous change of fortune against the hornets.. (slow tortoise race) Ponderous Rovers 1 Hapless Hornets 0 (the torture goes on) Predictable Rovers 0 Hopeless Hornets 0 (Watford give Rovers WhatFor) Pathetic Rovers 0 Horrible Hornets 3 COYB! PASHA OUT! PUPPET BOY OUT! VENKYS OUT!!
  18. Yeah I probably didn't explain very well. Like the first call released was someone enquiring about a player and pasha directing him to the director of football. Another was pasha just giving out a phone number. There's no ammo there for us who oppose the venkys and board but potentially an avenue to gain sympathy from certain sections of the fan base "oh look at the coalition resorting to childish / illegal tactics" If the calls had eventually led to pasha haggling an insane agents fee on a purchase / sale then it's a different ball game.
  19. We don’t have any soldiers but plenty of con or piss artists
  20. Preston appear to have entered a death spiral of their own as of late. Losing 3-0 at Boro after a 3-0 home defeat in midweek and a 0-1 defeat to Derby before that.
  21. I feel similar. I was old enough (just about) to enjoy the tail end of Souness into the Hughes era, but wasn't to start going more regularly on my own til the Kean & Venky's rot had set in. I've been on a personal boycott since the Eustace shenanigans and it feels utterly strange to have this huge gap in my life where Rovers should be. I can sympathise deeply with today's boycotters, it's brutal to feel forced to stay away from something I could describe as running through my veins, but I must say the benefits of not being permanently frustrated and angry with the mess-state of our club has helped. All the power to every fan boycotting today, whether physically not entering the ground, or refusing to spend on top of a season ticket. Here's to far better times and a return to undying connection to the club we all love!
  22. I defer to your knowledge on this but I recall Tyjon leading the line last season when others were on loan/injured. Perhaps, it was much less than I vaguely recall. At some point, Boggan, Wood, Leonard etc. were all unavailable. For a teenager lacking real pace or physical strength or great wingers to feed, albeit, he is very talented, it made no sense. To my mind, he was overplayed.
  23. and no doubt Millwall will pay him double what Rovers would offer anyway
  24. Anyone going today will you be good enough to post some pics of the empty Stands. I can see another spoof 12k attendance being given by the Club.
  25. I think we are pretty much dead and buried but today presents a chance for us, West Brom only drew, Charlton currently trail and Pompey don’t play till tomorrow. We won’t win though so it’s irrelevant
