  1. Past hour
  2. lol, further proof that some ceo`s should`nt be anywhere near a football club,
  3. Joint favourite at 4/1 which means nothing at all, when they’re odds on it’s usually more telling. As an aside the names listed for them are a lot better than our duds list
  4. If they continue with wanting a manager who does his best with the players provided to him, there’s no future. If they want to appoint an experienced manager and actually listen to him we might at some point move forwards. If they do that there’s no need for Gestede.
  5. Bradford City boss Graham Alexander is the surprise favourite to take charge at Blackburn Rovers following the dismissal of Valerien Ismael. by Chris Dunlavy 8 February 2026
  6. It’s both tbh, the players are shite, so are those that signed them.
  7. He's just an absolute cunt
  8. Who would take the dross? Assembling a team full of graduates regardless of whether they are ready (Doherty for example, absolutely nowhere near, Dlamini the same) will only lead to further relegations. The odd one or two, for example Pratt I think would be decent in League 1, done because that individual is deemed ready, fine. Excitement?!
  9. It wasn't meant as a direct criticism of Alebiosu - merely that it wasn't actually proving effective. My choice would have been to move Cashin inside, remove Morishta along with Carter and bring on Pickering and Gudjohnsen. Seems that Pickering is not an option hence pull Alebiosu to RB but still encourage him to get forward when possible. Easy in hindsight but it putting on O Riordan for Carter only weakened us (not having a go at O Riordan either) rather than taking Carter being a catalyst for a slight change and go for all 3 points proactively before Norwich could do exactly that...
  10. The issue is not the players. Get rid of the 2 stooges, the Raos and associated agents.
  11. Same here, would happily see the back of the whole squad bar carter, sonny and Wharton
  12. Today
  13. That's great. Even if we cannot make the right decision, someone else can make the wrong one 🥳
  14. That should seal their relegation.
  15. 😂😂 Out of the frying pan and into the fire for Leicester
  16. Agree with this post Tim. In some weird way I find a lot of excitement in this.
  17. I suppose the difference is that a break clause can work in favour of both sides, whereas a minimum fee release - like Eustace had - mainly favours the manager/head coach if it's low enough to be realistically triggered in the event said person does a decent enough job. I could understand why we wouldn't want to give another minimum fee release clause after what happened with Eustace, but then, it's a mess of our own making thanks to the shambolic way the club has been and continues to be run. I just can't see a manager with any genuine talent coming here unless he knows there's a way to escape. A break clause may work, but it does leave the risk of the date expiring, things suddenly going downhill and then the club refusing to allow the manager to resign. Waggott took the chance with Eustace, most likely because he knew we needed a decent manager to make sure we didn't end up in serious trouble. He saw the minimum fee release as a risk worth taking to give us the best chance of short-term survival. Not convinced Pasha/Gestede have the same motivation.
  18. Russel Martin apparently favorite for the Leicester job
  19. Gary, if you get to read this I really want you to come in and have a go at saving this wonderful club but for real mate you'd be out of your tiny mind. With the gruesome twosome in charge you don't have a cat in Hells chance of building anything here. Just look at the Venky history and appointments. You'll be doomed from the get go. The passionate supporter in me says shut the Hell up Timmy and take a shot at saving us but if you must take the job don't fall for the old wobble head trick and get an exit clause written into the contract. You'll be most welcome from the terraces but truthfully we'll all be shaking our head in pity. It'll be like being forced to watch a car crash in slow motion. Over to you pal. As for me I'm rooting for you.
  20. The only benefit to being relegated is getting rid of the dross and watching our academy players play each week. The few positives so far this season has been watching Pratty, Atcheson, Litherland, Doherty, Powell etc get opportunities to play in the first team and them doing well. There are plenty more in the academy coming through who i'd prefer to see play than some of the first team.
  21. Question will again have to be asked of just what exactly are venkys getting out of this? They do not show any sign of being interested or feeling that it’s benefiting their business in any way. Continued year on year cost cutting and failure to reinvest has got us to this stage, leading weren’t learned from last time we dropped, we have again been led by incompetent snake oil salesmen, major disconnect between fans and everything else with the club. I always felt that one day, in the far off future granted , but in my lifetime , we would grace the premier league again. I’m now bracing up to the realisation that this probably isn’t going to happen, there is very little separating us from other local teams such as fleetwood , we are being left way behind as others have jumped right up and overtook us. A lot would need to change to reverse our fortunes and make this a team worth getting behind and supporting again , I know I’m not alone in feeling complete apathy and just lost in my feelings to what’s currently happening. It’s just not fun. Will it ever be again? the questions and answers from venkys, gestede, pasha will probably never be asked nor answered
  22. This side gets relegated again. Would prefer Garrett in the middle over Sid.
  23. It's very depressing reading the choices interested. Having Rowett over some of the dross out there is a bit like choosing between stubbing my toe on the radiator or falling off a ladder and breaking both my ankles. I don't particularly want either but one is clearly better than the other!
  24. Don't disagree, club is rotten all the way through.
  25. Ones beyond crap, and the other two are managing Premier League clubs.
  26. Yes Rowett like Lambert or Eustace will present them with his 3 year plan A and plan B. They won;t like that though because V's don't do plans they do whims and they've already installed the 'planners' they want in Suhail/Owen and Gestede. So it'll be 'Gary you come in to coach the team and be on the touchline whilst we take care of the rest'
