I tend to agree, but I do think if we had our preferred first eleven out every match we'd probably just about survive. Football doesn't work that way though. You need solid players available to rotate, and we were so utterly decimated in the summer that it is zero surprise to anybody with a modicum of common sense that our form has instantly tanked the moment we needed to call upon those in reserve. Ismael is a poor manager, but the league is full of 'em. If we go down the largest share of responsibility will lay, as always, with our clueless owners and those they employ to "run" the club.

One will have his pick of jobs and the other one won’t. It’s not difficult to understand. -
Quite possibly, and that might have been his intention. It would still be nice if Ismael would put even a modicum of pressure on those above him.

Lose this and fail to beat Watford, which I suspect, and people really will start resigning themselves to League One. -
Think after saying he and his players have been abandoned by the board the chances of Glasner staying to the end of the season are slim.
-
Swansea win, we get one shot on target. Valerian makes more excuses and speaks of the owners ambition and injuries and results don’t matter, running hard for 90 minutes does. He stays in the job and we get linked to a nobody player we’re signing gambling peanuts on from the Betclic 2 Liga and it’s being drummed up as an ambitious exciting potential signing who we’ve been chasing from LSK Lodz since last summer.
-
The difference between Glasner’s and Ismael’s comments are so stark.

It’s a tough game no doubt about it but the 3-5-2 is absolutely eye bleeding unless you have two dangerous WBs. TGH and DeNeve both atrocious. Baradji zero interest today, Cantwell in a slump, even Tronstad was sloppy today, a couple of unfortunate goals today and a blatant penalty turned down. It’s all going against us, and Vals list reeks of the “poor me” attitude, and it’s reflective on the players. Val deserved that today for continuing with the hapless Hendrickson. My god. Val needs the boot regardless, get someone in here that has a chance of keeping us up, cause if we go down we won’t be back here, let alone premier league. They are gonna write a book about this tragedy in 30 years. -

That'll be another deadline day sale to shoot us in the head this time. Getting money in is absolutely all that matters. -

There's so much focus on it because we played so badly, and because it was our only chance, if we were murdering them 4 0 it would hardly get a mention. But teams get results when they don't play well, that's football. -

Could the right tracks involve us threatening the opposition goal? I think Ipswich had more on target today than we've had in the last 5 games -
Roughly where I was stood when we went up under Howard Kendall. That team would have put today’s team to the sword.

It’s heartbreaking watching your club die a slow death.

I’m still shaking my head over the first goal. Classic case of a left footed player trying to clear the ball with his right foot. Not knowing what was going on behind him ( Nothing in this case ) etc. It sounds like heads went down after that. I said I’d back Ismael as long as the players were giving 100%. It appears today that not all of them were. I’ll give him Swansea away but if there isn’t a massive improvement in performance and attitude I’ll be giving him the black spot. Who takes over after that will still have an injury list as long as my arm but something will need to change. - Today

I was talking to somebody last Tuesday, about United sacking their useless manager, i said theyd improve with Carrick in the dugout, low and behold they beat cty 2-0. If somebody at Ewood Park has a braincell, they'd sack Ismael. -
It's all we have left. Bit of my heart broke today. Knew we were gonna come off worse but the manner it came about.

Managers do this, Ismael is particularly fond of it, but its a totally skewed analysis of the game to put so much focus on that decision. We were absolutely shocking throughout. Putting so much emphasis on that decision at 2 nil takes focus away from that. I know as a fan, my annoyance lies predominantly at what we could control today, not refereeing decisions. -

Our best attacking player today was Atcheson he played a couple of lovely forward passes and to say he was our most effective player from centre half is depressing Saying that it was good to see Jorgensen driving at players although he was obviously starved of any other quality service -
