  1. Past hour
  2. Duff was very good for Chelsea, injuries slowed him down in the end. Which Cole did they ruin?
  3. I’m 41 years old and I’d happily have Bellamy over anyone, bar Shearer in my lifetime.
  4. Agree but he looks a bit of a prick the way he prances around the technical area as wales manager always in the ear of the officials
  5. I think he’s finally grown up by now. He’s doing well with Wales. I remember seeing him in his very early days at Norwich and thinking - β€œ Mm, he’s nothing special β€œ.
  6. Chelsea had a habit of ruining good players. Duff cole Sutton. He only played around 10 games for them
  7. He didn’t do much after he left Rovers unless you count his time up in Scotland as something. The best I saw him play was for Celtic when they beat us at Ewood.
  8. I had my head in my hands when he missed that. Remember walking away from old Trafford gutted. Shame because it was such an enjoyable day. The banter with the Chelsea fans outside the ground before the game. Remember one asking me who was going to win I said rovers. He replied 'then you woke up'
  9. I also thought benny Mccarthy was excellent in his first season. Then he downed tools. He ended up doing nothing at West ham
  10. One of those times when he had too much time to think where he was going to put it.
  11. There's no way I'd have Bellamy over Sutton. Sutton was the complete forward. He had a mix of Teddy Sheringham and Alan Shearer. Bellamy was quick and a good finisher
  12. If you don't rate Williams, McLoughlin won't excite you
  13. Any idea how many ST's we've sold? Where's Goozburger when you need him πŸ˜…
  14. Shame Bellamy is such a bellend off the pitch
  15. It is very quiet. I wonder whether the club expected to have both Travis and Brittain off the books by now and are short of cash for incomings.
  16. Paired with Santa Cruz he would. Free running, fast forward and a brilliant combination, if only for one season. Some of the most exhiliarting football I've seen Rovers play.
  17. I have never had Paypal and didn't realise it was still being used. Debit card payment now failed 11 times. I wish all the other payments I make failed like this!
  18. We were up celebrating and couldn't believe it when he missed. Big moment - minutes from first FA Cup final since 1960
  19. Look at their respective careers. That should tell you all you need to know. Sutton was great for us but Bellamy had that X factor. Teams had to line up 10 yards deeper against us when he was playing.
  20. I’m still not over it…one day when I replay it in my mind it’ll go in…
  21. I was right in line with it. I thought it was going in right until it went past the post. I think if that had gone in we would have held out for a win.
  22. I bet he has dreamt about that one over and over again. I know I did and it took me a while to get over it.
  23. It’s like watching another sport. 2 wide wingers, 2 more up front . Just Flitty and Tugay in midfield.
  24. and that incredible headed miss against Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi at Old Trafford with only minutes to go (would have put us in the final) will long linger in the memory bank for all the wrong reasons. Met MGP in the hospitality at Ewood last season and he remembers it well!
