  1. Past hour
  2. Substitute of for have and I get your point.
  3. That option being to spurn any chance of building an attack by repeatedly standing offside.
  4. Today
  5. We must have the tackiest most wank club shop ever. The 150th anniversary clobber they put together is absolutely disgusting. The only thing that's actually worth buying is that T with the white stripes on the shoulder and the badge in the middle. The rest of it id even be refusing on my own stag do and prefer to wear a wedding dress
  6. That’s fair. Plus Gueye gives us another option if we’re going all out for it in the second half.
  7. Nice return for Connor McBride, our former striker. He was shortlisted for PL2 player of the year (I believe Cole Palmer was amongst the names on the shortlist) after a great season of goals, playing alongside Sam Burns. Following year, he got a first team pre-season appearance and scored a deflected free kick, I think. But it was all downhill from there, in terms of his career. It is negligent to be fielding young Tyjon as a lone forward, if he was there. He doesn't have the strength or the mobility for it. Last season, I believe, he was run into the ground trying to plough a lone furrow upfront.
  8. Surely we arent potentially criticising a player for being available every week?
  9. He reminds me of John Buckley and that’s not a good thing.
  10. Mm, certainly nobody seemed to have that “ X “ factor but there was a lot of young players out there and it showed the longer the game went on. We’d no real idea how to get back from 3-2 down, it was just hit and hope. Very easy to defend against.
  11. He did ok at first but not unexpectedly faded as the game went on. He was getting caught in possession quite often. He should have been subbed off on the hour. I’d say he’s a decent prospect and he has youth on his side.
  12. Ah bollocks I was going to get it for my Dad for Christmas with our names in, but I've just gone on and seen it's offline. Ah well.
  13. I wouldn't class any of them as great prospects. I doubt any of them will make championship level
  14. From the tiny bit I saw, Isaac Dunn looks a great prospect
  15. Precisely. Many more absent performances like today and Arsenal will look elsewhere.
  16. If I were Tyjon’s agent I’d be telling him to sign that contract asap before we change our minds !
  17. You could argue that if you’re a centre half and you don’t miss one game in 50 for injury or suspension - maybe you’re not putting yourself about as much as you should be ?
  18. I hope VI has the confidence and conviction to not play Tyjon if he doesn't deem it beneficial to the team in the short term. I've made my feelings on this clear, I have no interest in blooding him this year to improve him on the chance that he signs a contract, especially if it's at the potential expense of Championship points. Sign and play. Otherwise, best of luck.
  19. How many “ crunch “ matches did we fail to win ? I’m going back a few seasons now.
  20. A left footed player on the left hand side, who’d have thought it ?
  21. The game passed him by. I’m still waited for that “ Wow “ moment that tells you there’s a special talent there. Wharton took me about 5 minutes.
  22. He missed a sitter in the second half when it was 2-2. If I was scout for a lower division league team looking to loan a left back in January I’d be looking somewhere else.
  23. Never quite sure what this competition proves apart from the young uns are miles off. Rochdale started one player from game at weekend so we are basically playing a reserve side.
  24. Decent first half, poor poor second. We never came out after half time. Also we never looked like coming back after going 3-2 down. We lost too many 50-50 balls. The subs were way too late, we were getting over run in central midfield after 55 minutes. Nobody is going to be knocking on the managers door tomorrow asking even for a place on the bench. Tijon ? The game passed him by, he’s certainly not an No 9 in a million years. Although he did win the John Buckley award for the most pointless booking in the game. They looked like a team that is used to losing to me. I expected more from Batty. Joseph came on too late and never got a pass.
  25. Doherty always full of energy and takes players on. Nice to watch Joseph for the first time. Looks a unit but not offered any service here.
  26. pretty sure you can have 3/4/5 (unsure on exact number) overage players Doherty just did more in his first minute than Mullarkey-Matthews did all game
  27. However we've improved tremendously between the sticks so it'll probably roughly even out. I also think Hyam's best ability was availability (50 consecutive starts is a heck of an effort). He was a mid-table CB - too soft and quiet for mine.
