Remember having an "argument" with one about Eustace being a better manager than VI. He was on my case a lot when Derby were below us but dropped off quickly after Derby got their act together.

You're mistakenly assuming Venky's cared enough to micromanage Waggott's every decision. He could have gone down a completely different route and tried to grow the Club long term to meet his financial targets but took the exact opposite strategy of trying to steadily squeeze more and more money out of an ever diminishing fan base. Every Club he's been at temporarily tanked under his stewardship then recovered thereafter. More baffling attempts from you to exonerate anyone other than the owners from any blame whatsoever.

I think our club has 'gone' and we are drifting aimlessly into oblivion where we will disappear with barely a whimper. Sad but true. It seems our supporters don't have the stomach for a fight and apathy reigns supreme. Let's have it right, Waggott was the penny pinching, downsizing architect of our destruction. I never bought a single word of his bullshit personally but just because he was arguably slightly better at putting the thinnest veneer of respectability on things, that doesn't mean that in reality things are any worse now than before. We're just continuing on apace down the road to oblivion he set us on.

I don't think I'll read the Lancashire Telegraph again, it stated last week, that Alebiosu wasn't in the final squad. I think they make it up as they go along.

I would even go as far as to say they are missing Waggott's 'steady hand' on the rudder That's not to say that slippery Steve was a suitable manager of the club or representative of it, but he at least had some know-how and PR abilities which enabled him to pacify the fanbase and dilute anger quite effectively. A human shield who was quite skilled in calming things down and giving people answers (even if nothing actually happened from there). Since he exited the scene the remaining lot haven't got close to his skills and so it has rapidly descended into conflict because everyone can see what they are really like down there now.

Looking at the three fixtures of Sheff W Oxford Pompey I would have preferred 9 but accepted 7 points from those matches, given the unpredictability of the division. The fact that we've now only got one point from them because the replay is probably months off, is making me panic. Tomorrow is the toughest match of those three and if we don't win we're sucked right back in. That game in hand will linger over us for ages now and nothing is guaranteed from it. That game in hand against Wednesday might come when we're in real trouble and there will be so much pressure on it. The last 15 years has shown that we never turn up under pressure. I have a feeling tomorrow will be an ugly draw, 0-0 or 1-1. Not great for either side.

It's probably from reading people like me on here, saying that I think Ismael is a dud manager and that Gueye is one of the worst players in the club's history. It is harsh sentiment, but it's not abuse and it's an opinion about a professional's ability to do a job they're paid to do. I spend all my hard earned money following this dud manager and these crap players round the country, so I can say what I like about them as long as it's not illegal or bigoted.

Hands up, I didn't even recognise the player delivering this nonsense - although to an extent it demonstrates my ignorance, that's what they've reduced us to. He was playing right back/wing back for Hibs and Australia. He isn't going to be attacking right wing back/right back as Alebiosu but I think he is than capable of filling in for him until he is back

He does play at right wing back for Australia. Not that I have watched those, so I couldn't tell you how well he fits that role
