As long as its just a couple...

Somebody at Derby obviously knows something. The only way Jewell gets it is if he is offered it - he won't interview.

But this has been a strange day, so who knows. Maybe they have found money for him to spend.

It's a big club if handled properly...

Couldn't resist it, actually got 120-1 on him I think.

Not going to lose any sleep if it doesnt come off but thought it was worth a try.

Also got a bit on Ince, not much. Bit worried by the Jewell Developments now though.

I was tempted by the long odds too - but have everything tied up on McLeish.

Probably rubbish but on those same derby forums some guy reckons he put £2k on Ince in 36 different bookies and got the opening odds of around 16/1, before they collapsed to evens. He has "insider knowledge" :xmas:

I really hope this was true if Jewell gets it :)

Jewell 1.08 now on betfair. Very unusual for someone to be this short odds and Nicko doesn't appear to know anything!

Ince was similar odds yesterday and now he is up at 4/1. There is alot of money being thrown on this market.

ince went as high as 12/1 less than 10 mins ago

He has lost the market backing big time, good time to go in if he is head to head with williams.

The same guy(from derby forum) who "stuck £2k on ince" to get the job yesterday is now saying that Derby have offered the job to Jewell.

Indeed. Odds of 1/41, which are pretty good if you have cash to throw on!

Jewell's Betfair odds are on the seemingly on the increase now, well in the last few minutes. :wacko:

Betfair is very confusing, i've just gone to put money on williams and you can change your odds to what you want but still only lose a fiver if you dont win?? could i really win £5000 from a £5 bet on him?

I think thats if somebody takes your bet :blink:

Another better(s) would have to lay against your bet at the same odds. So yes you can win that sort of cash but you'd have to be very lucky or catch someone off guard with lots of cash in their account.

I've been out at Blackpool...but I hear Paul Jewell has been at Derby all night.

I think he may be getting it, they will probably give him the cash.

Would think there will be a result fast now - I think they may have made approach at the right time.

It's been a day for suprises.

Think Burnley may have got a good un, by the way...

I think he is teasing. From what I hear he wants Real Madrid, that's what some of his sidekicks are saying.

Just think he is too 'big' for the FA to handle. I'm not sure he is THAT good anyway.

This England thing is going to drag...the Premier League managerial madness is much more intriguing. The craziest ever.

It's the beauty of the game. Even better when you backed them at 5 to 1. And did a double with Sevilla.

Think the Dingles just happened to hit Watford at the right time (4pts from 15), even Barnsley stuffed em, even so decent result. Time will tell. Good timing for the Charlton game too, if Robsons mob can turn Charlton over even the dingles stand a chance of a result. Just looked at that league table it's wide open for playoff places with no team outside the top 3 or 4 able to be consistant

Mourinho has asked the FA to invite him to manage England.

Hiddinck is stalling on his Russian contract

Houllier is being pushed by David Dein which is even more reason not to appoint him

van Gaal smashed his leg pole vaulting yesterday- definitely the man for England!
