Bobby G Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Start walking you useless excuse for a manager.
AussieinUk Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 If we hold on for a couple of weeks feel sure that Hughes will be available. We cant wait that long.. Ince has to go NOW! Bring Tugay in as a caretaker manager until aniother suitable candidate can be found... If there is one that will come. Hughes wont come back..
T4E Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Don't worry Hughsey, there was a board meeting last Sunday where Ince was fired.... Atleast someone is scoring points!
oozy Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 It's unbelievable how he just stands there with no idea what to do. And why does he always seem on the verge of tears? or is it just me?
James No. 7 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Do you honestly think that Hughes if he came back could turn this team around - I doubt that at the moment - but he also couldn't do a worse job than what Ince is doing now. He's turned around in what was - in my opinion, for what it's worth - a poorer team (collection of players) once before.
LeChuck Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 betting so it begins jol 16/1 ..................should be200/1 why would he want to be considered You're right, Jol would never come. Houllier at 12/1 is interesting too, but I don't think he'd have the slightest bit of interest either. We were quite an attractive proposition in the summer and we still went for someone from League Two. I don't even think we could tempt a high-flying Championship manager now because the chances are we'd swap divisions with them at the end of the season. I'll be honest, I don't think I'd care who came in. Whoever it is can not be worse than this absolute fraud of a man we have in charge now, and that's all that counts at the moment.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 If we hold on for a couple of weeks feel sure that Hughes will be available. Kamy, most of us cant take another 2 days of this nonsense!
Bobby G Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Hughes turned us around having taken over after 5 games into the season not 17!
roverfanuk Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 It's unbelievable how he just stands there with no idea what to do. And why does he always seem on the verge of tears? or is it just me? Maybe Ray just spanked him for being a very naughty boy? "He's not the Guvnor, he's a very naughty boy" http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=af9EHtQMMc4
ABBEY Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Kamy, most of us cant take another 2 days of this nonsense! 2 days? cant stand anotheer 2 seconds
Presty On Tour Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 No win in 11 league games! Totally clueless on the sidelines. He has failed! Ince out!!!!
nicko Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Just seen Sparky's Man City lose to an Everton side without a striker... And heard them booed off. You can't be serious to want a new manager who is only a few points above you. Think big.
Iceman Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I said to the missus the same thing, ince just stands there without saying anything to the players. I also made mention that he looks like crying, but he must surely be sacked now.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 i say give him more time, he needs 2 or 3 years to show what he can do, maybe even 5 years then judge him You've either been taking something that I wouldn't mind having after that result or just broke out from some mental institute. Or your joking? I hope.
LeChuck Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 This is the same side Hughes took to consecutive top 10 finishes, minus Bentley and with a different goalkeeper. I can't believe anyone would think he couldn't turn us around. He would never, ever come back though. The financial backing issue is what made him leave in the first place and that's just gotten worse if anything.

You can't be serious to want a new manager who is only a few points above you. Think big. We'd love to think big nicko, we should have thought big in the summer...but can you think of anyone big who'd want us now or whose wages we could afford?! As I can't think of any, Sam seems the best bet right now to me. Honestly if you know any names email them to JW's secretary as I haven't seen a single realistic decent suggestion which has floated around on here, other than BFS. It's an entirely hypothetical situation anyway as Hughes would never come back, but if we had the chance he'd be ideal to replace Ince with...he knows the setup, has an excellent transfer record. Shame it can't happen.

thenodrog Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I don't hate Ince, I feel for him. He is out of his depth and surrounded himself with fools like Winterburn and Fowler. I will absolutely LOVE him...... if he resigns as a man of honour should! If he hangs on for grim death and a big pay that we cannot afford as we all know he will then he'd better not cross the road in front of me!

He also apologises... Ah i dont give a crap. He needs to go! He expects to be here in January... He's getting used to his position being unstable... Chairman still believes in him...

Ill take anything over this lousy excuse for a manager and his useless backroom staff. you said offers for Warnock, Roque? Would they be interested in MGP and Nelsen too? And Andrews maybe... Anyone right now. One more day and its too late. The new guy needs at least 5 days before the next game or shall we throw that match out of the window too. This is a shambles...How has he survived this longggggg...
