G Somerset Rover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 The worst thing is we're literally 60 minutes in and Given hasnt had a save to make - I don't even think the guys had to come and claim a bleddy ball. Just so so depressing. Edit: Tevez misses a FREE header to make it 4. Great marking boys.

adopted scouser Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 shoit keeper, shoit manager, shoit midfield, and that poor sod all alone up front expected to perform miracles. Where's Sounness ?
MarkBRFC71 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 2 of those 4 definately wouldn't come. The other 2 are questionable as to whether they are upgrades on what we've got. ALL of those are upgrades on Allardyce - in fact you or I probably would be based on the sh*te I've seen served up this season. Which 2 do you think wouldn't come?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Can we have Hughes back now?? I'd even have him on the pitch at the mo. At least he'd show some fight and get stuck in. Probably as quick as our current players as well.
Heinz Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Lol another free header from Tevez in THE box... The defenders were having à cup of tea. Seriously though, this breaks my heart. BTW we havent managed ONE shot on target.....
novella Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 My bet for our first shot on target in the 75 th minute is looking good! Sam out.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 There goes our golden chance...
Backroom DE. Posted January 11, 2010 Backroom Posted January 11, 2010 ALL of those are upgrades on Allardyce - in fact you or I probably would be based on the sh*te I've seen served up this season. Which 2 do you think wouldn't come? Hughes and Jol. No chance. Grayson is questionable, Leeds were heavy favourites to go up before the season started so it's not surprising he's doing well there. Didn't Laudrup fail quite badly in his last appointment in a league nowhere near this one in quality?
hi-jaq Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 this is shocking... I've always been one to support the manager & team, but I feel like the final drop of confidence is ebbing away... I'm bitterly disappointed with our teams performance... someone has to be accountable... things have to change... some pride must be restored in our club!!! I love Rovers... I hate the sh1t team we have become under the current management, come on Williams GET RID!!!
bigbrandjohn Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 You personally?? If i win the Powerball this weekend I'm up for it
cletus Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 60minutes gone. Have we had a single attempt on goal yet? My mind`s gone numb. This game is being played at reserve game pace......& we still can`t compete It`s pretty dire right now
walk down bolton road Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 OK, someone wanted suggestions for next manager? Simon Grayson? Mark Hughes? Martin Jol? Michael Laudrup? Anyone of them would do for me Mark.
BRFC1995 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 2 of those 4 definately wouldn't come. The other 2 are questionable as to whether they are upgrades on what we've got. i think from all his interviews and his completely beaten down expression sams lost the will to try anymore...looks like he's lost the will to live half the time. Whatever old magic he had has long gone...........right now it would be hard not to improve on him
Daremz Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 The Dutch commentator: "In a rugby game, that would have been a goal"
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Anyone else think a new manager won't change much? Just got this air of inevitability when it comes to Rovers, we have been in decline for years and the sale of our best players has greatly contributed to that. Just got this feeling no manager is going to save us, our squad just ain't good enough and with no funds to make major changes to rectify this i think we are doomed.
RevidgeBlue Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Where's Sounness ? It would suit Sourpuss down to the ground. We have 28 right backs at the Club. He could switch them to left back and put them all on the pitch at the same time.
LeChuck Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 2 of those 4 definately wouldn't come. The other 2 are questionable as to whether they are upgrades on what we've got. I'd say three wouldn't come, whilst one has 'lower league manager' tattooed on his forehead. It's so hard to think of anyone who wouldn't be a huge risk, and we simply can't afford to have another Ince in charge. We're in an incredibly tough situation. I think Sam should be given until the end of January to sort this out. If we're still looking the same after that then he has to go.
broadsword Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Souness didn't want the job last time it was offered. this is all gonna end in tears one way or another.
BPF Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Souness in! (Providing you are willing to put dirty challenges in on Andrews during training)
Daremz Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Dunn out, Olsson in. That makes sense, if you're a complete retard. Rovers vs. Villa: 1-1 Villa vs. Rovers: 8-1 Rovers out.
koi Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Souness didn't want the job last time it was offered. this is all gonna end in tears one way or another. Was Souness offered the job?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 He's written this game off and is already focusing on the cup semi now.
rog of the rovers Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Have Rovers ever won when Olsson has played? He's the poster boy for 'give up' performances at the bigger clubs Seriously, I cant remember one!
